Strengths: Loving atmosphere, strict rules, well organized, great food, able to talk to staff at any time, peer to peer support, which can sometimes be a downfall as much of a strength. Weaknesses: I feel there was done bias. In community where you are the subject your peers point out your behavior. .. Good bad. ..and assign words to write on that subject. Which was actually good for me. The weakness is sometimes you can be accused of something that totally isn't true and can be set back in the program or do a total restart. This facility had gone from a 9 month or more program to 6 month. I completely disagree with it being so short term. I do not believe it's long enough especially for the heavy addiction and problems I had.
They really care about what you're going through and try their best to help. The only problem is that my aunt went there and seemed to be doing great but relapsed about a year later and now she is back there again.
Good facility but needs better holistic offerings.

Before determining what type of treatment program you need, it is important to think about the cost. The cost of addiction treatment can vary greatly from one program to the next, but you have several options when it comes to paying for care.
Private treatment centers often offer a diverse collection of programs and levels of care, but they can be more expensive. Fortunately, many health insurance providers cover at least some of the cost of substance use disorder treatment. Even Medicare and Medicaid cover services for substance use disorder, but not every rehab center in Kentucky will accept them. Talk to your health insurance as well as the treatment center you are interested in about what your policy covers.
If you do not have insurance or are not fully covered, there are also ways of paying for treatment without it. Many private facilities offer financing options or can advise you on alternate ways to fund treatment. There are also state-funded rehabs in Kentucky that can be a good low-cost alternative, but only certain people qualify for these programs. If you are still in need of other treatment options, you can also look for local resources in your area. Some charities and organizations offer low-cost or free addiction resources to help those who need them.
To find the best drug rehab in Kentucky for your needs, you need to know what to look for. Every treatment program is different, and every facility has something unique to offer. Make sure you search for the level of care, program, and facility that will meet your recovery needs.
For many people, a drug detox program is often the first step of treatment. During this process, patients detox from the substances that they have become dependent on. Because detox can cause unpleasant and potentially dangerous withdrawal symptoms, many facilities that offer a drug detox in Kentucky will have medical staff monitor patients 24/7. Many will also prescribe medications to help decrease cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms.
An inpatient drug rehab center involves patients living at the treatment center while they receive around-the-clock care. By living onsite, patients are able to separate themselves from triggers and live in an environment where recovery is their priority.
These programs typically run for a couple of weeks but can last for several months as well depending on the facility and the treatment plan. Every inpatient drug rehab center in Kentucky will also have a slightly different curriculum of programming, but in general, patients will take part in behavioral therapy, support groups, relapse education, and holistic programming.
Not everyone who is looking for treatment will need such an intensive care program. For those wanting more flexibility with their treatment plan, outpatient levels of care may be a better fit.
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is the most intensive level of outpatient programming. Patients will partake in regular individual and group therapy programs throughout the week, but instead of living at the same treatment center, they will live at a nearby facility with other people in recovery. These programs allow patients to continue their recovery while still getting some exposure to the outside world.
More relaxed, an intensive outpatient and standard outpatient program will still have patients follow an individualized treatment plan but will not typically involve as much of a time commitment. Patients can also make their own living arrangements. Many outpatient rehabs in Kentucky will have patients transition through these programs as they progress in their recovery.
While a traditional treatment center will still have some conveniences, a luxury rehab in Kentucky will have added amenities and services. These amenities can vary from one treatment center to another but often include services like housekeeping, fine dining, spa options, and more. Many luxury rehab facilities will also house patients in private rooms instead of shared living spaces like in a traditional treatment center. These programs are often a good fit for those people accustomed to a higher standard of living and looking for the same type of upscale treatment during their programs.
Co-occurring disorders are common among those looking for help for addiction. For those struggling with a mental health disorder as well as a substance use disorder, an addiction treatment center in Kentucky with a dual diagnosis program can be a good choice. These programs include mental health care that extends beyond what a traditional treatment center may offer. Many of these facilities will have dedicated mental health professionals on staff and have programming in place that will focus on treating the patient’s mental health needs alongside their addiction.
With so many options and programs available, trying to find the best rehab in Kentucky for your needs can seem overwhelming.
