About Landmark Recovery of Louisville

Landmark Recovery exists to assist each patient in the development of a lifestyle that is permanently free from all mind and mood altering substances and that promotes the patient’s well-being across mind, body, and spirit. We strive to achieve this vision by building strong, ethically-grounded relationships between each employee and each patient. These relationships outlast the treatment program and continue to serve the patient as long as necessary post-discharge. Our corporate values are: PEOPLE: While recognizing the importance of delivering a return on investment to shareholders, Landmark holds that it is never acceptable to compromise its moral and/or ethical responsibility to meet the needs of its patients, employees, or communities in the name of increasing profits. As such, the legitimate needs of the PEOPLE involved in the Landmark community must always come first when making business decisions. PASSION: Landmark holds that, in order to deliver the highest quality treatment, all stakeholders must exhibit a continuous internal desire to see each and every Landmark patient achieve his or her goal of a substance-free lifestyle. This PASSION must drive each action that our employees and contractors complete the job, and should be externally obvious to all patients, stakeholders, and community members. PURPOSE: Landmark holds that employees must be cognizant at all times of the company’s mission, and must be driven in their work by that mission continuously. The PURPOSE behind the work is at least as important as the work itself. LANDMARK LIFE: All employees and stakeholders must strive to assist patients in achieving a life that is substance-free and completely fulfilled in mind, body, and spirit.

This was the most horrific rehab facility I've ever encountered. They break HIPPA laws by calling your employer and CPS if you want to AMA, because you made a phone call to them once and they make you use the phone on speaker. It isn't co-ed shower

I just did my 37 day stay in Louisville. It was my first rehab experience. Absolutely horrific. Go to my google review as it is too long to post.

I will say the techs, group and individual therapists are amazing. Food could be better, but I am a very picky person and do not eat red meat or pork. If that is your case, get used to terrible veggie or black bean burgers. Once you leave, while IOP is awesome, the individual responsible for extending care is terrible. I loved and needed IOP, but the employee responsible for calling my insurance did not do his job. Once \"denied\" additional days I called my insurance only to learn I would have been approved, but no one from Landmark called to request more days. I also need to know why I was charged for medications I never took. I had to pay $320+ to a company called Omnicare to cover meds. I was not sent home with all of the meds \"I took\" including cough drops. I was sent home with a pack of 5 out of 30 cough drops. Funny, when I asked for a cough drop, I was told there weren\'t any. Who took my 25? Other patients or staff? I want every pill I paid for returned to me. I could go on about the wing smelling like sewage, having techs walk into my room without knocking, techs asking me to edit their papers, finding 6 razors in the 4 showers and being told I would be in a wing with all females when that was not the case, but why digress? No one from Landmark will return my calls. It is a business. I was told that by financial several times. Just be safe and know what you are getting into.

Facility is clean there is a gross smell tho. The techs are supportive and understanding. It would be better if they weren't on their phones all the time. More like high school mentality sometimes. I would tell someone this is one of the better ones tho.

My sister was admitted on the Malcolm ave site. She was here for about 21 days. As soon as their funds were cut they didn’t care about anything but dumping her out. My daughter a Nurse was her temp guardian and could never get anyone to answer or call her back. Yes basically they dumped her on the street without her guardian knowing. I wouldn’t take anyone here. All about money only!!!
