Zero de-escalation training. Staff is punitive with patients. Violated my patient rights and rights under the ADA on multiple counts (right to compassionate care, right to privacy, and right to clear and effective communication- all of these on multiple counts.) Not safe for LGBT patients, refused to honor my request not to be called by my birth name and to keep my birth name private.
And on top of it all, they committed a HIPAA violation in my paperwork by providing me with a sheet containing another patient's FULL NAME and PATIENT ID among my own discharge paperwork. When I called to let them know they had done this, they replied "there's nothing we can do because she's probably already left." Which is another HIPAA violation; patients are required to be notified when their privacy has been breached. Legally, someone ought to lose their job over that one.
Released me still having psychotic symptoms and thoughts of harming myself and others, with no safety plan and no çommunication with my boyfriend- after I signed an ROI so that they could communicate with him. On my second day I spoke to a nurse practitioner who told me she would send a prescription for a higher dose of my antipsychotic. She didn't! Told me to follow up with my therapists office for med management- which she doesn't provide! Her office is just her! It's her own company! She's the only one! I was unable to get med management for two weeks! I went into the hospital for med stabilization!
Might as well stay home, my stay here made me worse.
