Charles E. Meusburger, MD is a graduate of the University of Rome Medical School and completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. He is a Board Certified Diplomat of Neurology and Psychiatry and has been a practicing psychiatrist for more than 25 years. A former Department Chairman of Psychiatry, Residency Director and Medical Director for Behavioral Health Services in a large health system, Dr. Meusburger is an independent practitioner specializing in adult and adolescent psychiatry. Crystal brings to Lighthouse a strong passion for addiction, education, and mental health. She hopes to utilize her leadership role as Clinical Director to help enhance clinical programming and therapeutic techniques to get that much closer to RCA’s mission of saving one million lives. Upon completing her Master’s degree from Rosemont College, she immediately followed her heart and found her passion for addiction in 2013. Crystal has worked in several different levels of care, however found her home when she came to RCA in 2017. Since coming to RCA, Crystal has held several roles beginning as an outpatient therapist, inpatient therapist, supervisor and now Director. Crystal has extensive knowledge in substance use and co-occurring disorders. She particularly enjoys working with individuals with identified trauma, co-occurring issues, as well as has a special interest in the study of eating disorders. As the Clinical Director, Crystal oversees daily programming and assist in development of continued enhancements, helps manage day-to-day responsibilities and functions, as well as is a part of the growth process for the clinical team. Crystal believes that being a great director reflects in those growing around you and that is what she strives for daily. Crystal’s greatest pleasure is having the opportunity to work alongside passionate and caring individuals. Working in the field, such as addiction can be hard at times, however Crystal believes in RCA’s mission and strives to provide the utmost dignity, respect, and compassion for all clients that come to treatment. Sharon is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Certified Clinical Supervisor and National Certified Counselor with over ten years’ experience in a variety of treatment environments including detoxification, residential, halfway house, and intensive outpatient treatment. Sharon earned her master’s degree in Counseling at Kean University where she is currently an adjunct professor in their Counselor Education Department. Sharon employs a person-centered counseling approach utilizing evidenced-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Mindfulness Based Interventions rooted in cultural competency to ensure the best possible client care. Sharon brings outstanding experience, clinical acumen, and an authentic enthusiasm and passion for supervision, holistic social services, and substance abuse counseling to Recovery Centers of America.
