I went there for a few hours. I was in need of a different kind of care but from the transfer my purse and makeup bag both got lost in the transition. I had the patient advocate do an investigation where I am now and it definitely never made it here at the news center I'm at. I keep getting a run around and if my belongings are lost I want to know what the protocol is for that being I was there for 4 hours max and promised that everything would be handled . I am just very upset. I just got the purse a month before and the makeup bag is from Wal-Mart and cost $50. The purse around $80.

This was the worst experience of my life. Upon entering the staff mostly nursing treated me like a common criminal. All my medication that was brought by me was thrown away or stolen. When I left the treatment staff kept all my belonging including my cell phone my wallet my money and my I'd. I was stranded 2 hours from home and had to walk 45 minutes to a wawa to use the phone. Thank god for my family. I made it back home to Maryland and had to be re prescribed my medication that I had to pay for out of my money because insurance would not cover it because MALVERN is doing illegal acts and ruining lives even more than they were. If I could put a lawsuit against MALVERN I absolutely would. I strongly encourage anyone who is struggling with addiction to seek another facility. Never again will I enter the doors of MALVERN. I will die from the disease of addiction before I return to MALVERN for help.

The Roc program really cares. The support provided by the Roc program not only to him but to the entire family, well after he had finished the program attests to the true nature of the dedication of the staff to truly help each family touched by this awful disease. It has been two years that my son is sober, yet they still check in and send encouragement and positivity our way. When you are as scared as I was as a parent, it’s a safe place that held my hand and never let go.

Upon arriving to this rehab, to make a drop off for a family member, I was so rudely not greeted by a receptionist. She was huffing and puffing and made me feel completely uncomfortable after just driving an hour just to get there to seop off a care package for my family. I have worked in a hospital myself for 6 years where we handle patient care belongings and patients detoxing waiting for a bed to a rehab, being there to talk t ok family members etc. If you are a part of this facilities care for patients in recovery, I dont think your first thing you should be doing is rolling your eyes because you have to clock back in and speak down to someone's family telling them you cannot take the drop.off bag cause dro pl off ended at 430 regardless if you drove an hour away. Then proceed to tell me that my family member was just ma ioulating me because everyone there knows that drop.off ends at 430 and that no patient there can see anyone for 10 minutes. What she explained to me was totally different then what my family member was being told. And I heard the counselor in background explaining to him what to tell me. This receptionist is the first person you see that greets you upon arriving a d represents this rehab called Malvern. I'd say your rehab is being poorly represented. She did not smile, or greet me with care. She seemed frustrated and irritated and like she was taking it out on me. This is not a place more rehab that I will ever recommend to any of our patients in my hospital or the case workers. One person can definitely make a difference when you are paying out if pocket to know your family is in good care. In this case, not so much. No stars Malvern.
