In 2014, more than 1,000 accidents in San Bernardino County were caused by a driver who was under the influence of alcohol. Not only is this number higher than the year prior, but it accounts for 12% of all serious accidents in the country, and it is higher than the 11% average across the state of California. Additionally, San Bernardino County reports that the number of alcohol-involved car accidents in the county have risen by 11% since 2010, while the statewide average has declined across the state.1
Though the focus is often on narcotics use and abuse, the fact is that alcohol is also hurting families in Chino Hills, California. Teens who begin drinking may diminish a number of opportunities before they have a chance to really start their lives. Young parents and pregnant mothers who drink may place their young children and unborn babies at risk. Adults of all ages who combine alcohol with other substances, including prescription medications, are in danger of experiencing serious medical complications, and those who drink regularly over their lifetime increase their risk of developing potentially-fatal chronic diseases, such as liver failure, heart disease, certain cancers, and more.

I’m so glad I decided to come here. I’m from a very small town in Ohio where there is not a lot of great treatment centers and I’ve tried for the last 2 years to get clean. I needed to make a change. My friend went here and is still sober and totally a changed person. That’s what I needed so I made the decision to come here. I came here nervous and uncomfortable because I was so far away from home . Ara was the first person I met here and he was just so kind and very informative about their treatment program. I had no idea he was one of the guys that owned this place. I have never met an owner from any treatment center I’ve been to and for him to take his time out to come and get me and make me feel way more comfortable is just completely amazing and he is also not an addict. He is not did not once make me feel bad about being one you can just tell he really wants to help people change their lives . So I showed up to this beautiful house and it really just had this amazing vibe to it and I started feeling way better about the choice to come here. Every tech I have met is in recovery and are super inspiring and are always willing to talk if we need it and will go above and beyond to help you with a problem your facing. The therapist are really nice and want to truly help you. Everyone is super professional but also personal. They make you feel like we’re all family and they wanna see us be the best people we can be. I recommend anyone to come and experience something different then your old medical treatment centers that have to see 50 or more clients and really get that one on one personal time with yourself and your therapist it was a great experience and if God forbid I relapse I know I can come here with open arms and have no judgment towards me. I’m just happy I made it back alive this is a home away from home with the structure I always needed in my life thank you Luxe for helping me save my life.
There are different treatment options out there depending on your needs. For example, outpatient clinics can offer you the time to really step back and get away from all of the influences currently fueling your addiction. You'll immerse yourself in talk therapy, holistic remedies, exercise and nutritional counseling that can help move you away from addiction and back to what matters in life.
Detox treatment during an inpatient stay can help mitigate some dangerous alcohol withdrawal symptoms and, after treatment, sober living homes can help you slowly reintegrate into the world.
