Spencer Recovery Centers offer individualized treatment programs in an environment designed to promote achievement of long- and short-term goals, mental stability, emotional and spiritual growth, and positive feelings toward sobriety. Treatment includes intensive group therapy sessions, relapse prevention, drug/alcohol education, family therapy, individual therapy, nutrition counseling, 12-step therapy and transition counseling.

- Carol ColemanCATC II – CounselorFor over 25 years Carol has dedicated herself to the recovery of clients, their families, and loved ones. Carol works with clients individually on a daily basis, and she also has the privilege of facilitating multi-faceted family groups twice a week at Spencer Recovery Center. During these groups, she, clients and family members examine communication styles and ways of interacting more productively to ensure that everyone has a voice. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment in which to express feelings and resolve conflict. Watching these changes and being part of the solution has been Carol’s motivation and reward for many, many years.
- Chris SpencerFounder and PresidentChris Spencer has been working in the Southern California Recovery community for close to 30 years. He is the president and owner of Spencer Recovery Centers which have been in service for over 25 years. Chris has dedicated his life to helping others achieve success in their search for recovery. A major contributor to the creation of the non-profit Social Model Recovery System, Chris was recently honored with an award for his service with the organization at their 25th Anniversary Gala. He has helped countless people overcome their addictions to alcohol and drugs and intends to do so always.
