I\'ve been in treatment for a few years now and have been to a few treatment centers over the years and from the staff to the service to the recovery gpa is by far the best treatment center that I have been to
For containment, structure and loving care Bluff is incredible! I’ve been there twice and both times I was impressed with interactions with daily staff. My therapists on both occasions were incredible but this is not a place where psychiatrists are of much value. Preliminary trauma work is definitely possible with a staff and the horses. The most beneficial work for me was with my therapy sessions, DBT, and the care of the techs and nurses. I never saw Dr. was more detrimental to the program than effective so if you go there the expectations should be around awesome structure, healthy and motivating groups and incredible care by the techs, nurses & Dr. These people are the backbone of Bluff and will help you more than Dr. Additionally, the chef could be working anywhere but chooses to be at Bluff to help patients detox with delicious, incredible, low sugar and healthy food.
Mt Sinai is incredible. I have been to several rehabs and this is the most amazing spot ive been to. I came to Mt Sinai after reading the reviews. The program is effective if you just follow the schedule. People get what they put into it. I loved my therapist (Mary) and also my Dr., Dr Siekel. The food was good (not 4 Star, but better than my wife\'s) The cabins are great and if u cant succeed at Mt. Sinai, you just weren\'t ready to get clean. Dont hesitate to send your loved one there, and go if u need help. You will be treated with respect, and as a human being, they treat the disease as a medical condition and not a behavior. Thank you Mt. Sinai for getting my life back.
