While there, my child was more focused on art and making bracelets than an actual treatment plan. He was a private pay for 2 months at the price tag of 36K. The facility stated he was ready for release at 60 days. After his release he struggled and now is in a worse situation than before he was admitted. Now I struggle with keeping him safe and the next steps. On the quality of care --he was fed, provided recreation, and counseling but a valid post release treatment strategy with follow-up is lacking. He has no housing and life skills to even work.
