This in an incredibly life changing facility for young men who are struggling with addiction and who they are meant to be. The staff genuinely care about the clients and want the best for them. They are not only there to counsel them but are a role model every day on how to live a meaningful, productive and sober life. Our son's case manager's dedication and kindness to our son and our family is what has made the difference in our son's outcome. The clinical staff has also had the most impact of any that we had tried previously. Their team effort is a very effective treatment mode. I can't imagine there is a more caring treatment team anywhere else. My son's life has turned around and we have back our kind. loving, motivated son that he was prior to using drugs. I highly recommend this facility, they really know what they are doing here.
Staff and program Some of the facility and policies The program is outstanding, the staff is highly trained and the facility is in wonderful shape. Is it perfect no, but is there that is? I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.
My son went all the way through Turnbridge. We had tried some rehab options here at home. Nothing in St. Louis compares to this long-term program. A heroin addiction cannot be addressed properly in 120 days, or even a few months, as I learned the hard way, even if the addict has a desire to recover. Dumping him or her back into the same crappy environment in white-knuckle sobriety doesn\'t seem like a good answer. This long-term commitment paid off for our family. One of Turnbridge\'s real claims to excellence, in my view, is that the young people are immersed in positive, fun recreational activities almost immediately. The counseling and support personnel are fantastic, to be sure, and no rehab facility can succeed without them. But there\'s nothing like sending your hollowed-out child away, and then within a very short time seeing him replaced with a happy, hopeful young man who declares, \"I didn\'t know I could have so much fun and not be high.\" Of course, that was only the beginning of his recovery, but I think if he hadn\'t gotten this positive experience right off the bat, the success might not be there. It was a long haul after that. Getting a job, receiving a bachelor\'s degree -- those were just pipe dreams at one point when keeping him alive to fight another day was all I could hope for. The environment is crucial, and giving these youngsters a beautiful setting and meaningful experiences cannot be underestimated. Turnbridge isn\'t cheap, but my son has his life back. He just got married to a wonderful girl, who we all love, and is very happy. There isn\'t enough thanks in the world for me to properly express my gratitude to David Vieau and this wonderful organization.
