The AdCare name represents innovation, quality and cost efficiency in alcohol and drug treatment. AdCare’s integrated system of care offers a nationally-recognized hospital facility in Worcester, Massachusetts; an inpatient treatment center in North Kingstown, Rhode Island; and a network of outpatient offices conveniently located throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. AdCare, which is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC), embraces a philosophy of quality-driven, patient-centered programs that are also relevant to the challenges of today’s healthcare environment. AdCare’s continuum of treatment levels and modalities enables us to match the needs of the patient with the most appropriate level and cost of care. We believe that addiction is a disease that affects not only the individual, but his or her family as well. Successful treatment requires placement at the appropriate level of care and involvement of the family throughout the treatment continuum. This treatment philosophy has allowed us to advocate for the patient while remaining responsive to the interests of commercial healthcare companies, Medicare, and other insurers.

Rehabs 360 Guide

ABOUT ADCARE WARWICK OUTPATIENT

Founded in 1975, AdCare operates multiple drug and alcohol facilities across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The Warwick location is an outpatient facility, which make up about 89 percent of all treatment facilities in Rhode Island. The center provides both regular outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) to individuals struggling with substance abuse or co-occurring disorders.

AdCare Warwick Outpatient, like all AdCare locations, is part of American Addiction Centers nationwide network of treatment facilities.

While there is no residential or detox treatment provided at the AdCare's Warwick OP, you can find these services at AdCare Hospital in Warwick, Ma, and at AdCare Rhode Island in North Kingstown, RI.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

According to AdCare's website, the Warwick specialized programs include advanced recovery group, co-occurring group, parenting group, and women's group.

Programming may also include comprehensive assessments, early recovery group, family support services, intensive outpatient programs, day and evening sessions, along with individuals, group, and family counseling. Family and friend meetings are offered monthly, on the first Tuesday at 6:30 PM.

AdCare's goal is to teach clients how to maintain a sober lifestyle while learning about substance abuse and the recovery process; build recovery skills; increase physical and emotional stability; develop life skills; and help loved ones cope with the impact of addiction on relationships.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

AdCare's website indicates its treatment team includes physicians, nurses, clinicians, nurse practitioners, counselors, and case managers.
