Boynton Beach Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs

Like many other cities across the United States, Boynton Beach, which is located in Southeastern Florida, is being affected by drug use.

Nearly 231,000 people in Southeastern Florida reported past-month binge alcohol use from 2012 to 2014.1 Binge drinking can increase a person’s risk of experiencing harmful effects. Additionally, 31,600 people reported past-year illicit drug use during the same period.1

Before entering a Boynton Beach drug rehab, you may require medical detox. Detox is often the first step on the continuum of substance abuse treatment; it reduces or prevents your withdrawal symptoms in a medical setting. However, detoxification on its own isn’t enough to help you achieve long-term abstinence.2

They really helped me get to my core issues and not only help my substance abuse problem but also help my eating disorder and trauma as well. I would prefer to stay sober and not need treatment again but if i did need it again I would absolutely come here. I have been to many treatment centers and this one is the best!

I gained a personal relationship with Christ there and learned a lot about myself. They celebrate recovery, which is very nice. However, there is no mental health program.

    Station House

The clinicians are fantastic!! Plenty of group sessions in house and addiction outside the facility As a young facility they still have some growing pains with organizational skills and management. Plenty of group and personalized attention by the clinicians and nurses. This facility is for first responders only (fire, police, and ems). The house itself is immaculate I would recommend it to people Psychologists and therapists guest speakers from around the country come in and lecture and give advice to help the staff as well as the patients grow in their recovery. They specialize in First Responder PTSD

Born and raised in New Jersey, his passion for helping people began early on and it has stayed with him ever since.Growing up, Christopher loved playing Ice hockey and was on his Highschool varsity team. By the time he was 18, he was invited to try out for the USA National Team Development Program (Team USA). Shortly afterward, he walked away from Ice hockey and turned to drugs. For many years, Christopher struggled with a relentless drug addiction and while his drug use was on and off, he went to rehab twice. Within that time, Christopher served as the Co-founder of a Jacksonville-based insurance franchise called We Insure Florida, which he had to step down from in order to return to rehab. As soon as he managed to get sober, Christopher decided to transform his challenging past into a present triumph through helping others who have gone through the same thing. Now four years sober, he is the proud Chief Executive Officer of Boca Recovery Center, a drug and alcohol treatment center. Utilizing his in-depth marketing expertise, he aims to encourage people battling with the disease of addiction to find a positive outlet in the form of drug and alcohol treatment.Additionally, Christopher is Certified National Master Interventionist (C.N.M.I.) and received his certification from the National Association of Drug & Alcohol Interventionists (N.A.D.A.I.). Boynton Beach Recovery Services
Outwardly, Boynton Beach, Florida is a typical Sunshine State community. However, a closer look at the data reveals that the rate of violent crime in Boynton Beach is nearly twice the US average. On a forum post, one resident of the upscale Chapel Hill neighborhood reported a dozen robberies in the past month.

Byproducts of the illicit drug trade include “turf wars” between rival gangs, attempting to protect their markets, and theft as addicts turn to crime in order to pay for their drugs.

With cities cutting budgets all over the nation, there is only so much law enforcement can do. Boynton Beach citizens can help; making a choice to stop using drugs will reduce the demand.

It’s not always easy, particularly if one is physically dependent. Help is available, however.

    What People Are Taking

According to a recent survey by the Substance Abuse and Mental health treatment Administration (SAMSHA), the most frequently abused substances among Americans are:

    • Cannabis (marijuana and hashish)
    • Cocaine (in powder and “crack” forms)
    • Opiates (heroin)
    • Hallucinogens (LSD, Ecstasy, etc.)
    • Inhalants (household cleaners, etc.)
    • Prescription pain medications

What You Need to Ask Before Enrolling in Rehabilitation

Once you finish detox, you’ll have to find the rehab center that’s right for you. There’s a lot of factors to consider, including:

    • Cost: Do they take insurance or are they private pay?
    • Location: Is it somewhere close to home or will you have to travel for treatment?
    • Staff: How much experience do they have? What kind of medical education do they have?
    • Accreditation: Is the facility licensed or certified by the state? Does it have certification from the Joint Commission?
    • Amenities: Are there private bedrooms, swimming pools, walking trails, fitness centers, etc.?

Choosing the best rehab center for your needs can be tricky, but that’s why we’ve compiled a directory of both local and out-of-state options. Don’t be afraid to look outside of Boynton Beach, as a remote rehab facility might give you a chance to start over. Consult our directory now to get started.

One of the most difficult obstacles to recovery is getting past the physical addiction itself. Physical dependence is a complicated process, and differs for each individual depending on genetic predisposition and what substances are involved. Usually, the first step in treatment is to free the patient from this physical dependency. This usually requires medical attention and the use of prescriptions under a doctor’s supervision.

Some rehabilitation programs include this in their treatment programs; others require the patient to seek detox at a hospital or medical clinic. You should find out beforehand and make arrangements accordingly.
