West New York Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers

Negative effects associated with alcohol abuse can range from a disconnection from loved ones to the loss of career and home. To get back on track, it’s essential to pick the right treatment. West New York, NJ has nearby treatment options for alcoholics seeking recovery.

In 2016, 64% of Hudson County residents seeking addiction treatment were admitted to a facility within the county.1 With both inpatient and outpatient options, how do you choose which is the best West New York alcohol rehab for you?

Research shows that both inpatient and outpatient treatments have a high chance of success when attended for at least a 90-day period.2  Since both of these types of treatment are effective, you can consider the other unique benefits each rehab arrangement offers.

Outpatient treatment:

  • It only takes a few hours a day, and patients can still attend work or school and participate in a social life.
  • It is generally more affordable than inpatient since the person doesn’t have to pay room and board.

Inpatient services:

  • The inpatient rehab experience is more intense and offers more structure.
  • Inpatient treatment allows people to separate themselves from their using environment to focus on recovery.

People with significant alcohol dependence require medical detox before entering a West New York rehab. Alcohol withdrawal can be very unpleasant and even dangerous. Detox can help you remain safe throughout the withdrawal process. Regardless of which type of treatment you choose, there are plenty of options for getting help in the West New York area. Our database makes finding a rehab center easy whether you’re looking near home or prefer to seek treatment elsewhere.

From working with adults in a state prison environment to working with youth in intensive outpatient and aftercare modalities. Getting the help you need or helping someone you know in West New York get treatment can make all the difference in the world when it comes to overall quality of life.

Determining the Cost of Recovery Programs Much like any other medical treatment or program, the cost of a treatment recovery program has to do with the types of services offered and the length of the program. The more extensive the services, the more expensive it's likely to be. The same goes for the length of a program. While costs can vary considerably, a person's individual treatment needs may warrant one type of program over another regardless of the costs involved. Fortunately, there are a number of insurance plans and government and community agencies that can help to cover some of the costs of recovery programs.Prescription Drug Abuse Rates

Considering the media coverage on celebrities and prescription drug abuse, it's no surprise that this form of addiction is fairly common. A survey conducted by the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration in 2009 shows rates of prescription drug abuse within the US population. Some of the statistics listed include:

    • About 7 million people, ages 12 years old and older have used prescription drugs for recreational purposes.
    • Prescription drug abuse increased from 6.2 million people to 7 million people between the years 2008 and 2009.
    • An estimated 6,027 people per day tried prescription drug for the first time (for recreational purposes).
    • Approximately 56 percent of teenagers surveyed said it was easier to get prescription drugs versus illegal drugs.
Pick Recovery Centers in West New York

Whether you or someone you know is entering drug rehab for the first time or you've already tried rehab and relapsed, West New York treatment centers are able to help as you work towards recovery. Because of the way addictions work on the mind and body, there's a high probability that a person will relapse, even after going through a drug treatment program. This is actually part of the recovery process for some people and especially in cases where long-term drug use is an issue. The important thing to remember is to not give up. Breaking an addiction isn't easy, but it is doable.
