I gave these ratings based on this incident. On October 5, my brother was taken by staff to the hospital and was told to call when he was ready to be picked up. He was there for several hours trying to get a ride back. He called me because he did not know the number for the program to call for his ride, so I called several times and left messages but no one answered. After him waiting several hours the security guard told him he needed to leave the hospital he did not know what to do. I live in Oregon so tried to call all the numbers I could find for your program and finally got an answering service and she took the message and said she would give to someone that could pick him up. Didn’t anyone inquire about where he was, or think about how he was suppose to get back. The only recourse after waiting several hours and getting harassed my the security guard was he would try to walk back to the program, but he didn’t know how to get there. In my messages I asked that someone let me know if he got home safely and I still have no idea if he made it because no one called me back. I think this is irresponsible of staff to not follow up and make sure he got back safely. Being left at the hospital in an unfamiliar place with an injured leg and not having a number to call for a ride is ridiculous. He is now worried that because of the injury to his knee he will lose his placement. After all this he needs a break and to keep his placement there. Would someone please call me so I know he is safe and explain why this happened.

it worked and it worked for a lot of people....Its not fancy but a rehab doesnt have to be,your not there for pampering your there to succeed. They have a lot of x addicts that are trained and certified in Calc and a lot have gone on and received their bachelors and masters degrees..I dont think if I was dealing with people that hadnt walked the walk I would have listened or done so well. Not enough attention to alumni.

I was in the secacus house for a little over 7months back in 2006. It\'s not a comfy rehab, it\'s meant to be uncomfortable. Back then we had some really great counselars (and one not so great). But I gotta say that place gave me the tools and understanding to get clean. I relapsed as soon as I was released, but a year later I got clean and have been since. I honestly credit that to me going through this program. Again this was over 10 years ago, so I don\'t know how much it has changed.

This rehab manipulates its clientele. They belittle, admonish and punish for things real and perceived. There are no set rules and no set treatments. There are only 4 or 5 meetings of different sorts per week. The counselors have weekly quotas to meet so it does not matter to them how they treat the people seeking help. Just kick them out for whatever imagined wrongdoing.... Get the next batch in for more state money. The food is not balanced - koolaid instead of juice, nothing fresh. There are SO many inconsistencies and disparities here it is a wonder any of these poor people get help. It is an exact stereotype of \"Drink the Koolaid\"... very unsettling at best - not to mention it is in a very dangerous area. Very pathetic indeed. God help those poor souls sent there.
