I had been through 4 other rehabs over my 30 year addiction. This program was an entirely different approach. Instead of sitting around telling war stories in group, I flushed out my body in the sauna. Discovered myself and got to the root cause of my addiction playing a victim to my past. I am coming up on 7 years clan and sober were I only would get 28 days clean with the other 4 programs I completed.
Very down to earth, full of support and an amazing out patient facility. Amazing counselors!
It's a 90 day program that is designed for the dually diagnosed client that is lost in mental illness and addiction to very severe extremes. It's a lot of work, but worth all the blood, sweat and tears that are shed by both client and staff. With it being a state facility, funds are limited, but each client goes through a financial screening, so indigent folks generally are covered 100%. It isn't posh, nor do you get private rooms. (Fine by me. Small price to find my sanity.) I know this place saved my life and made me actually like and respect myself again.
