Verify your coverageBaldpate Hospital is a small, quaint facility in the woods of Georgetown, MA and is a hidden gem among rehabs and detoxes. It's unfortunate that insurance companies now dictate the length of stay at treatment facilities in Massachusetts. It's the same everywhere, not just t Baldpate. Our legislators need to instead of having some flunkie at an insurance company make medical decisions that affect the lives of people that need help longer than the five days that is common among treatment centers in Massachusetts.
RCA Danvers is a great place to start your road to recovery. The staff is great! It is not just a job to them, they are kind and compassionate. Facility is clean and comfortable and the food is very good. My experience there exceeded all my expectations.
I also feel that the care provided at Bedrock was excellent. All of the people who work there are extremely caring and supportive. As for the administration end, DO NOT TRUST THEM. They are going to tell you and your loved ones whatevs best for them to fill beds. Management is all about filling as many beds within their facilities as possible. If there is not a waiting list at the front door then they will keep you there as long as they can whatever your condition might be. If there is a line at the front door then they are going to ship you off to one of their other locations so they can fill as many beds as they can. I seen many people sent to Bedrocks lower care facilities or even worse home. Some of them should have been institutionalized never mind being allowed to leave Bedrock. It’s to bad because everyone from their Techs, Nurses, Clinicians, to Case Workers are all amazing and are there for the right reasons unlike the management end Employees 5 out of 5 Stars Management 0 Stars
