I went to a program structured exactly like this. I have volunteered to speak and help at this program on several occasions. When a guest and although difficult and I did not understand the requirements and intensity of the program it all made sense in the end. I will be 5 years sober in a couple months due to this exact program. Guest may not know it but if they get the opportunity to attend this program they have truly hit the lottery in regards to an effective method in not only staying sober but turning their whole life around and opening up future possibilities that they have only dreamed of. The only catch is the Guest has to want to put 110% into this or it does not work. I know these men personally and they truley do care about every guest at this facility. Its not work its their life.
When I got to RCA, I was't sure what to expect. After a couple of days I knew I was in the right place.I was made to feel right at home by the staff AND the other patients.Everyone involved with RCA is extremely knowledgeable and caring. The place is a 5 star hotel. extremely clean. the food is great!(many choices). This facility is not just about sobriety,it is about changing your whole way of life and the way you think about yourself, finding a power greater than yourself to guide you. Everyone at RCA, especially the RSS's really had my best interest and that of my peers at heart The only issue I might possibly address, is that communication at times between management to staff could be a little more consistent. 5 STARS+++.
