      Knowledgeable staff and great physical plant. Seemed to take a long time to get an appointment. Hazelden is extremely well known and respected. The programs offered were appropriate for the young person who was in need of treatment.

      Facility uses a 12-Step approach, which for my daughter ultimately did not work well; however, Hazelden helped her understanding and dealing with the issue....Ultimately my daughter changed her behavior due to her own maturity, worsening health problems, using the drug Baclofen, and reinforcement (via external sources).

      some of the staff is great & proffesional. you will have to deal with alot of drama from staff & other clients. they accept the lowest forms of people that need to be in a nursing home, bad hygiene they look for homeless people mentally unstable
