The treatment received at this facility was awesome, my sister has one on one specialized care and was well educated on her addiction in the clinical and mental aspects of how it affects her emotionally in her wanting to use. The staff is very well versed in handling not just the clinical side of treatment but also relating and comforting the patients on a day to day basis offering support.
I'm going to sober living back home when I leave here. My therapist Trina was amazing. We would always take time together to talk casually at the start of each session which made me feel more comfortable since it can be hard to talk about trauma, but I felt very comfortable with her right off the bat. My case manager Stephen helped me get lots of resources together. The outreach coordinator Chris Ferrente was absolutely amazing. He did so much work to get me here and it was truly an answer to my prayers. He was incredible. He was always available, any time I could call and I knew he would be there. He even reached out to the local sober house where I'm going when I leave here to make sure I had a safe place to go. He really made me feel like I was worth it and I'm so thankful for all the opportunity I've had to be here. Everybody was really great but those were the two that helped me the most. I felt comfortable going to staff about any issue that I had. The groups were great. Therapists did a really good job. The facility was very clean which is nice. The rooms are very nice, they kind of have a hotel feel and you're not sharing a bathroom with like 20 other guys. The movie night were great and they do bingo every week. Having speakers was nice to have people come in to share their story. It was very inspiring. This was a huge opportunity for me to hit the reset button. It was scary in the beginning to get out of my comfort zone, but one thing that I learned is just how resilient I am to come all the way to a different state and not know anybody and be able to jump in. It gave me a lot of hope that I can do this and even being in uncomfortable situations, I can get through it. I would absolutely recommend.
