It’s a great facility, their main focus is trying to help people get back to living a healthy life. Angel reaches out to me daily, because he truly cares about your help and well being
I have a whole team on my side since coming here. Everyone from my case manager to my doctor to my therapist has been there for me every step of the way since I came in in a fog and slowly started to get my senses back. Amesha my doctor was very understanding of what I was going through and the effects on my body. Even though I felt terrible, she was very approachable and caring which gave me the feeling she was open minded to my situation so it made me more comfortable. She listened to me and didnt judge me, instead she helped me find some solutions in terms of my medications. It's clear that she is very professional and I just want to thank her for helping me during such a difficult time to get through my detox and come out the other side.
To whom it may concern, SJRP changed my life with the infinite amount of love and patience they offered to me. The variety of food and activities made me excited for each day that came along. Activities included the gym, equine therapy, horse back riding, NIT/VAT therapy ( which is amazing!!!), painting and reading, meditation, group and one on one therapy sessions. Extra activities include park excursions, kayaking, visiting springs, and the beach. All the staff ranging from the Director of Operations down to the Custodians are there to provide tender loving care for the betterment of each client. I speak from personal experience and this is why I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend Saint Johns Recovery Place.
