Treatment Philosophy
At Greenhouse, we serve the greater Dallas area and beyond from our Grand Prairie facility. We know firsthand that one size does not fit all when it comes to addiction treatment, especially considering that many of our own staff members are in recovery themselves. Every person’s journey to recovery is unique. That’s why we offer individualized treatment plans and many levels of care, from inpatient medical detox where—where you can detox from any substances on which you’re physically dependent, in a safe and medically monitored environment—all the way to outpatient therapy. Based on your progress in treatment, you may adjust your plan as needed, moving between levels of care as necessary to ensure you’re getting the most out of your time at Greenhouse. Recovery from drug and alcohol addiction involves much more than detox. It requires new ways of thinking and new coping skills. Our program in Grand Prairie Texas includes numerous proven therapies to help you delve into the reasons behind your substance use, adjust harmful beliefs, uncover your motivations for getting sober, and learn new ways to cope that don’t involve substances. Our program also includes many expressive, recreational, and holistic therapies to introduce you to healthy ways to alleviate anxiety and help you learn to live a fulfilling life without drugs and alcohol. Your first step in your recovery journey is one of the most important steps you can take in your life. We make it easy to say yes to getting help by offering a range of features and amenities that will make your time in treatment comfortable, to help you heal your body (for example with chef-prepared balanced meals), and to allow you to focus entirely on what is most important: your recovery. Our wide range of features and benefits includes yoga classes, an indoor heated pool, a nutritionist, a meditation garden and bio-sound therapy available onsite for an additional fee, and more.

Treatment Philosophy
Greenhouse Outpatient Treatment Center is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers. At this facility, we offer the clinically appropriate client an opportunity to complete addiction and co-occurring disorders treatment as an outpatient as opposed to residential (or inpatient) treatment. Our programs allow the client to live offsite while attending structured treatment onsite on a part-time but still effective schedule. To accommodate the client’s family life, employment schedule, and community obligations, we offer flexible scheduling at two levels of outpatient care, Intensive Outpatient Program and an Outpatient program.

Treatment Philosophy
Most individuals who find their way to a Resolutions facility have already completed treatment at one of American Addiction Centers’ facilities and are now seeking the next step in the continuum of care. Resolutions’ connections with some of AAC’s state-of-the-art facilities, like Greenhouse Treatment Center, allows staff can provide residents with a high quality of care, without impeding the resident’s daily routines. From Monday-Friday, patients will participate in programming that is designed to help them continue moving forward with their recovery goals. We understand that given the nature of outpatient programs, many patients may still be employed or have responsibilities at home while they receive care. Therefore, we work with each patient to help make appropriate accommodations to their necessary schedules. For example, should a patient need to be on a work call during treatment hours, we ask that they inform their therapist so we can provide them with a quiet space for them to take that call. This is just one of the many ways that we help you balance your work and treatment so that you can achieve long lasting recovery.

About Texas & Why Choose Rehab in TX?

Texas is the second-largest state in the United States, with a population of over 30 million residents.1 Known as the Lone Star State, Texas boasts a diverse landscape that includes deserts, forests, prairies, and beaches. It is also home to several major cities, including Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, each with its own unique culture and attractions. Texas is also known for its love of barbecue, Tex-Mex cuisine, and country music.

The state has a rich history that includes Spanish colonization, battles for independence, and the oil boom of the early 20th century. The cowboy culture is still alive and well in parts of Texas, with rodeos and western-themed events drawing visitors from around the world. Overall, Texas is a state that offers a little bit of everything, from bustling cities to serene natural beauty, making it an exciting and diverse place to live or visit.

Texas is a top choice for addiction treatment due to its diverse offerings and strong community support. The state’s rehab centers emphasize both evidence-based treatments and holistic care, creating a well-rounded recovery experience. Texas also provides access to unique programs, such as rural retreats and culturally focused rehabs, ensuring everyone finds a suitable path to recovery. With its wide open spaces and welcoming atmosphere, Texas offers an ideal environment for healing and growth.

Addiction Statistics in Texas

Addiction is a significant issue in Texas, with many individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. According to a report by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, from 2017 to 2019, an estimated 1.4 million Texans – or 5.9% of the population – experienced a substance use disorder within the past year.2

Specifically, the prevalence of methamphetamine and cocaine misuse is on the rise in Texas, and there is currently no FDA-approved Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) available to address these issues.3 The three DEA Field Divisions that cover Texas have reported that methamphetamine is the primary drug threat in the region, highlighting the severity of the problem.3

In 2021, there were 4,984 drug overdose fatalities in the state of Texas, or 16.8 overdose deaths per every 100,000 residents. 4

Addiction Treatment in Texas

Texas offers a wide array of addiction treatment services designed to help individuals achieve lasting recovery. Treatment options include residential rehab programs, intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), and detoxification services. Texas also provides specialized care such as faith-based rehab, equine therapy, and dual diagnosis treatment for individuals with co-occurring disorders. Popular rehab locations like Houston, Austin, and Dallas cater to a variety of preferences, from luxury treatment centers to affordable, community-focused options.

Addiction treatment facilities in Texas offer a range of addiction treatment options to cater to different levels of need. Medical detox, inpatient addiction treatment, and outpatient rehab programs are the most common types of addiction treatment in Texas.

  • Detox: Detox is often the first stage in addiction treatment. These programs offer medically supervised detoxification services to manage withdrawal symptoms and help eliminate all traces of addictive substances safely.
  • Inpatient Treatment: Inpatient programs are intensive treatment programs that provide round-the-clock care and support in a residential setting, with specialized therapies and programs tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Outpatient Treatment: Outpatient programs offer more flexibility, allowing patients to attend treatment sessions while still living at home. These programs often include counseling, behavioral therapy, and support groups.

Additionally, many treatment centers offer specialized programs that cater to specific populations, such as women-only programs, programs for LGBTQ+ individuals, and programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.

There are also luxury rehab options available in Texas for those who prefer a more upscale environment during their recovery. These facilities often provide private accommodations, amenities such as pools and fitness centers, and gourmet food options.

Private-funded rehabs are another option for those who do not have insurance coverage or wish to keep their treatment private. These facilities typically offer a range of treatment options, including detox, inpatient, and outpatient programs, as well as individual and group therapies.

The Greenhouse Treatment Center in Grand Prairie, Texas, is an AAC facility and a premier addiction treatment center that provides a comprehensive range of high-quality addiction treatment services. At the Greenhouse Treatment Center, the team understands that each individual has unique needs and challenges. That’s why they offer a wide range of specialized programs designed to meet the diverse needs of their clients.

When looking for addiction treatment in Texas, you can use our online search tool to find drug and alcohol rehabs near you.

Does Insurance Cover Drug & Alcohol Rehab in Texas?

Yes, drug and alcohol rehab centers in Texas commonly accept insurance, but coverage depends on the specifics of your policy and eligibility. Many facilities work with private insurance plans as well as Medicaid and Medicare to make treatment more affordable. It’s recommended to verify your insurance coverage with the rehab center or your provider to understand the extent of benefits. For those without insurance, some Texas centers offer financial aid programs or sliding-scale payment options to ensure no one is left without the care they need.

Most insurance plans in Texas will provide coverage for addiction treatment to some extent, which can help to offset the costs associated with treatment. It’s important to check with your insurance provider to see exactly what types of treatment are covered and to what extent. This information can help you make informed decisions about the treatment you receive and the costs associated with it.

If you are uninsured or unable to afford addiction treatment, state-funded treatment centers are also an option. These facilities are funded by state and federal programs and offer low-cost or free treatment to those who qualify. While wait times for these programs can vary, they can be a valuable resource for individuals seeking addiction treatment.

Recovery Starts Today

Finding the right addiction treatment program is crucial for achieving lifelong recovery. With a variety of options available in Texas, including detox, inpatient, outpatient, luxury, and state-funded programs, it’s important to explore all the available options and select the program that best fits your individual needs. By taking the time to find the right treatment program, you can increase your chances of success and achieve lasting recovery.
