Specialization

  • Relational & Family Therapy Support

Alcohol and drug addiction research suggests that appropriate family involvement and support is a critical component for long-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation. As part of the addiction recovery process, Enterhealth offers individualized family therapy sessions as well as educational support for families in a group setting. Clients and family members are taught to rebuild and establish healthy relationships by learning how to assertively communicate feelings and needs. This allows clients and families to develop a connection with others, creating a strong support system for their drug or alcohol addiction recovery and lifelong sobriety.
  • Addiction disease model

The addiction disease model defines drug and alcohol addiction as a unique, irreversible and progressive disease that cannot be cured, but can be arrested through abstinence. There is evidence that, in certain individuals, each incidence of substance abuse chemically alters the brain causing them to become dependent upon the substance. The disease model demonstrates a progressive process where, over time, addicts experience powerful cravings and when they don't respond quickly enough, strong and sometimes deadly withdrawal symptoms occur. Continued use can also result in irreversible damage to the brain, liver, kidneys and other vital organs.

My husband recently spent 40 days at the EnterHealth Ranch. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of financial resources - his sobriety lasted a few hours. The accommodations, however, were very comfortable for him during his stay.

Enterhealth Ranch is by far the best inpatient treatment facility I have ever been to, and I have been to more than a few. I stayed at the ranch for 5 months and then did over 2 years of outpatient treatment. I have been clean since 2/20/2018. The doctors, nurses, therapists, and all of the other staff are excellent. You will get out whatever you are willing to put in. I was committed to getting and staying clean after many previous attempts, Enterhealth played a big part in saving my life and I would recommend anyone who is serious about recovery to give them a chance. I see a lot of negative reviews on this website, but it doesn\'t surprise me, not everyone is ready to get well; no one can help you if you are not willing to help your self. 10/10

What a rip off!!! I have no fond memories of this place, some of the nurses lie and you are basically under their control. Even after you complain, they never make any changes. You are just another number, all they care about is you paying for every little thing up to the last aspirin you take. Very short staffed, your lucky if you get your sheets changed and trash taken out once a week. There are different rules for everyone, some people have their phones all the time and others are given phone time of 3 hours a day for no apparent reason. They put everyone on the same drugs no matter what your in there for. If your not an alcoholic you will be in the minority. The classwork is all based around alcoholics. They are always trying to get people to stay longer and spend more money. If your worried about Covid-19 this is not a place for you. They have new people coming in all the time and everybody is put together in the same group with no spacing between. Personally it was very stressful to be there and made recovery very difficult. This is not what they say it is, don\'t let them fool you. Once you check in you will be responsible for paying the entire amount no matter how unsatisfying you find it. They will not give you any money back. Also one problem I had with the way they teach is they are setting you up to fail. Welcoming people back 2 and 3 times. All about the money! Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from here as you can.

Founded by a marketing professional and charging up to $100,000 for 60 day inpatient plus 90 day outpatient care, this facility relies heavily on medicating addicts seeking help. After detox, patients are put on anti-depressants and anti-craving drugs: Serequel, Suboxone, Campral, and Anabuse. If a patient does not go to the nurses station to pick up their sleep meds on time, they’re charged an extra $75. Enterhealth provides individual counseling, group meetings, and can patients can purchase a’la cart tests and “add-on” therapies. After patients are released, they offer an expensive (over $1,000) injection of a “blocking” drug like Vivitrol, which needs to be administered on a repeated basis. Although Enterheath is charging an inordinate amount of money for recovery, they seem to be understaffed and therefore rely on patient assistance with many incidents including physical altercations, drug-induced episodes, and addicts trying to leave. There is a fitness center, a salon spa and a pool. Sleeping arrangements are private, but it’s not uncommon for patients to hook-up with each other. Even though patients pay through the nose, they’re expected to “give back” once they leave by returning to the facility to give lectures and invest themselves in a myriad of ways. They have over 30 beds available at a time... and from what I’m told, they lose about 1 former patient per month to overdose or suicide. Enterhealth does not recommend AA or NA to addicts seeking help. AA and NA are free and available to anyone at multiple times and locations throughout every city every day... which would directly compete with Enterhealth’s costly program Personal note: Of the successful recovering addicts/alcoholics I know... some went to rehab, some didn’t... but they all did the 12 steps. For those looking for treatment... keep looking. There are some great facilities out there. This place is a cult-like money grab. “Sedation Resort and Rehab for Singles: We’re your drug dealer now”

Worse pace ever! I was drugged from the minute I arrived. They look down upon the 12 step program. I was treated horribly, given expensive tests that were not necessary and 95% of patients were told they were bipolar. DO NOT GO HERE! Go to La Hacienda in Hunt Texas and get well- the right way!!!
