Verify your coverageI LOVE Action Family Bakersfield!!! I have been employed by Action for almost 4 years. All the staff is like a big family, working together to help people and families effected by addiction. The program directors are incredibly intelligent and insightful. The facility managers go above and beyond to keep clients comfortable and important. The chef is a gift to all who consume his food, he caters to each individual\'s likes and dislikes when shopping and prepares delicious home cooked meals 3 times a day. 5 days a week. The counsellors are amazing and genuinely care about each client\'s recovery. I know that I would still be clean and sober without Action, 4 1/2 years and counting!!! If I was no longer an employee, I would continue to recommend friends and family members because they treat you as if you are!
Caring staff .Do not help with after care. They are valuable because they are more affordable than most in OC.
I am so grateful to Blvd and their amazing staff that helped me in my recovery journey. I went to their Hollywood location I have been sober since I first went there on January 23, 2016 I have a new life now Thank you!
People have their own reasons for enrolling in a rehab program. Some feel they need medications in order to curb their drug cravings, so they can stay free of drugs long enough to keep their minds clear. Other people enroll because they need to learn how to calm their minds when they feel compelled to use.
When you feel your resolve beginning to wane, you can look over this list and remind yourself why you're enrolled, and how your life is going to improve in the months to come. You can also share your list with your therapist, and come up with treatments based on your goals.
In treatment, you'll need to be honest about your thoughts, your feelings and your history. This can be tough, especially if you've said and done things during your addiction that you'd rather forget. But being honest and open will help your therapist to understand you, and help you heal more completely.
