I reached out to Solidarity Ranch years ago for help for my brother. I am happy to say even though I didn\'t have the money they were asking they changed it for my brother. They made it something i could afford. I don\'t think anyone at that time would have known that would change the life of so many people. My brother got sober for the first time sense we were little boys. I remember the very first time i seen my dad give my brother Alcohol. I had no idea what my dad did that day would destory my brother and the next 40 years of his life. But when Solidarity Ranch opened their door & their hearts to my brother Ted 6\'7 360 lbs. That they would save so many lives. For the first time in my life he was finally sober living happy there on the ranch for almost 2 years, before relocating to Oklahoma where myself and my family lived. It wasn\'t long and Ted\'s entire family were here also. Ted started going to church where he started a group for people that wanted help kicking the habits of Alcohol & Drugs. I lost my brother Ted after a open heart operation that went arye. Ted was at total peace with everything and had wrote in a 3 page letter that we didn\'t discover until 2 days after he passed and we had went back to his house. Surprised yes we all were. To see the letter that Ted had wrote helped all of us. He told us he was at total peace and in heaven, sense we were reading his letter. He said in the letter he was ready and was tired and that has helped over the years, because it has been hard losing my Big Man Brother that i loved dearly. I could never in two life times repay Solidarity Ranch for opening the door for my brother to step through and walk right in to heaven when it was all said and done. But it wasn\'t just my brother there were many more that Ted had touched and helped kick the habit. It was very nice to listen to some of these men speak so highly of my brother for caring about them and helping them like Solidarity Ranch had done for him!!! If you are in need of you think you can\'t afford a good place to take someone you love wait a second and call or reach out how ever you can to Solidarity Ranch Patterson, CA Thank you Solidarity Ranch for everything you you have done for my brother and the rest of the men i know you are saving. My debt to you could never be paid. God Bless You All R. Holt Oklahoma
