Treated well, thought there should have been more one on one counseling. Very busy place, but they were very experienced and compassionate. Quality staff in Wilmington & were very on top of things if there were issues in the house. They need a place for the women to workout & try to get them to do more if that, men worked out because facility was close, meanwhile the women are doing chores & assignments. But besides a movie every other weekend, down time was so boring
My son has dual diagnosis Bipolar and Marijuana use turns into Psychosis. My son is usually in treatment short for a short time as he is very talented and talks real well. Shady Hill got Meds right so important he came home after close to two months went on line for group meeting and has been doing awesome. Until this 20 Hospitalizations which several times we feared greatly of a bad accident no shape to drive. Shady Hill is far and away best place we have encountered.
