The Haven saved my life. I've been clean since January 27th. I haven't had any real sobriety in over 5 years. I walked in there in rough shape and left a new man. I'm very grateful for the entire staff. Everyone was great. I was well taken care of.

Treatment Philosophy
At The Recovery Team Cape Cod, treatment is built around what actually works—therapies like CBT, DBT and trauma-focused care, plus medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when needed. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, you get a plan that fits your needs, helping you build real coping skills and a strong foundation for lasting healing from addiction and mental health struggles. Treatment here is also about finding balance and feeling good again. Feel the calm of yoga and meditation and get hands-on experiences like equine and adventure therapy. Coupled with family support, aftercare planning and a welcoming community, you’ll have everything you need to get better and stay better.

About Aftermath Addiction Treatment Center Aftermath Addiction Treatment is conveniently located just over 10 miles north of Boston, just off Route – 95, in Lakeside Office Park, overlooking the scenic Wakefield Lake. Our program has three different levels of treatment to provide support through our continuum of care: Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, and Outpatient Program. Our Mission here at Aftermath is to provide safe and supportive assistance for those seeking continuing recovery. Our goal is to offer trailblazing techniques to our clients in order for them to implement those tools in their everyday life with the purpose of sustaining their recovery. Why Aftermath? We would love for you to give us the opportunity to treat and care for yourself or your loved one. Our staff members have personal, educational, and professional experience treating individuals with substance use disorders and mental health challenges. We understand that placing trust in people you do not know to care for yourself or your loved ones can be challenging. This is especially important in this field because our loved one’s lives are on the line. It is important to know that our staff at Aftermath hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards, our team is willing to go to any-and-all lengths to see our clients succeed in recovery. In our experience, there is no one single treatment pathway that leads to recovery because of this, we offer many unique approaches for our clients to utilize. We understand that each client will be in a different stages of their recovery at the time they receive treatment, therefore it is important that we meet the client where they are at, we also believe that it is imperative to include the client’s thoughts, opinions, and experiences in their treatment planning. It is not THEIR treatment plan or MY treatment plan; it is OUR treatment plan How are we different? Here at Aftermath Treatment Center, we take immense pride in the fact that we have walked in the same shoes as our clients. We are a dual diagnosis treatment center for addicts, by addicts. All of our staff members take great honor that we approach treatment planning differently from other treatment centers. Our foundation for our treatment planning, begins and ends with the most crucial ingredients: love, empathy, and direction. However, we do provide and utilize other proven clinical and medical approaches and techniques. We are able to provide these crucial ingredients because we wholeheartedly understand what it is like to be in our clients’ positions. And although there are many ways that Aftermath Treatment Center stands apart, I think it is more important that we all stand together during your challenging time with either yourself or a loved one. Our Vision sets us apart. “Aftermath: af·ter·math: noun: aftereffects of a significant unpleasant event.” Here at Aftermath Addiction Treatment, we understand that coming from active addiction is an extremely unpleasant experience. We are here to be your light for when you make the decision to try to come out of the dark. The Aftermath of active addiction has a chance to be beautiful and it is our vision to steer you to your new life in recovery by not just removing the drug itself but by addressing the underlying issues through our proven practices! Our Mission makes us Different. Aftermath Addiction Treatment LLC’s mission is to provide quality and ethical care for individuals with substance use disorders and mental illnesses. Aftermath encompasses love, education, experience, and direction to focus on the underlying causes of substance use disorders and mental illnesses. Our program incorporates cutting edge techniques in our group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, case management, and psychopharmacology therapy with the goal that we will enable our clients to live a happy, healthy, and whole life! aftermath-image-intensity Our Values speak volumes We value life We value honesty We value our clients We value our employees We value strength We value accountability We value our community We value the pursuit of improvement We value diversity

Sober 4 Life - CJO House

I can't say enough about this house. It is kept clean and spotless. The beds all have great mattresses and are very comfortable. The staff really cares about all of the residents living here. They offer to assist in every way possible and helped to keep me positive when I was at my lowest. I would not be clean and sober now without them. I am now back working full time and making a decent income.

Addiction Treatment Options in Massachusetts

There are various levels of addiction treatment available to you if you are seeking help in Massachusetts. These treatment options cater to different needs and circumstances and include the following:

  • Detox: One common starting point is detoxification, or detox, which involves medically supervised withdrawal management to safely rid the body of substances. Detox helps manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal and prepares individuals for further treatment.
  • Inpatient Treatment: Inpatient treatment, also known as residential treatment, provides intensive care in a residential setting. Individuals live at the treatment facility and receive round-the-clock support and medical care. Inpatient programs offer a structured environment where therapy, counseling, and other evidence-based treatments are provided to address the underlying causes of addiction.
  • Outpatient Treatment: Outpatient treatment is another option, allowing individuals to receive treatment while living at home. Outpatient programs vary in intensity, with options such as partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). These programs typically involve regular therapy sessions, counseling, and group support, providing flexibility for individuals who may have work or family commitments.

Different therapies and specialized treatment programs are also offered across these treatment levels. These may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, family therapy, and more. These therapies aim to address the psychological and emotional aspects of addiction while developing healthy coping strategies and life skills.
