David Semanco is a Master Addiction Counselor specializing in the application of complementary therapies to enhance the addiction treatment and recovery process. He transitioned into the addiction treatment field in 2002 following successful careers in information technology and music. He continues to incorporate technology and music into clinical practice as evidenced by his work with neurofeedback and music therapy. He is dedicated to minimizing the stigma of addiction and is an ardent proponent of innovative treatment methods which are underutilized in conventional treatment settings but which have demonstrated success through evidenced-based research. David has worked in a hospital, residential, and outpatient settings providing direct care, leading clinical teams, and developing programs for adolescents and adults. David is President of the Virginia Association of Addiction Professionals (VAAP) and has served on the Board of Directors of VAAP since 2010. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Summer Institute for Addiction Studies (VSIAS), one of the premier training venues for addiction professionals in the Mid-Atlantic, and served as Chair of that organization in 2015 and 2017. He also sits on the Board of Directors for NAADAC, the international Association for Addiction Professionals and for the R1 Foundation, which provides financial assistance for recovery learning and technology tools, community connections, and housing scholarships. As a noted speaker, David has presented training sessions and workshops for a variety of organizations, including United Airlines, West Virginia Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, Virginia Counselors Association, George Washington Center for Integrative Medicine, Chesapeake Health Education Program, George Mason University, and Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. David holds a Master of Science in Human Services with an emphasis in Addiction Treatment. He has studied under neurofeedback pioneers Sue and Siegfried Othmer of EEG Info (Woodland Hills, CA), Dr. Richard Soutar of the New Mind Center (Atlanta, GA), and Bill Scott of BrainPaint (Pacific Palisades, CA).

Before beginning his career in medicine, Dr. Jeffrey Gall spent a year and a half on active duty for training in the USMC Reserve, completing Boot Camp at Paris Island and continuing to a course in Ground Radio Repair at 29 Palms, CA. He left the Marines with an Honorable Discharger as a Sergeant (E-5), having served briefly during Operation Desert Storm. Dr. Gall completed his BS in Biology from The George Washington University, and entered medical school at GW, finishing in 2001. Following an internship in 2002 in Internal Medicine at North Shore – NYU in New York, Dr. Gall completed his Emergency Medicine Residency in GWU in 2005, becoming Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine in 2006. Following his residency, he worked at a variety of Locum Tenens jobs in the ER, before accepting a job as Assistant Professor of Medicine with The University of Maryland. He worked in Baltimore City for four years before taking a leave of absence for 6 months to do a training program in Retrieval Medicine in Queensland, Australia. This job involved helicopter and fixed-wing transports of ill patients from remote sites. Since returning from Australia, Dr. Gall has worked in Maryland exclusively, both on the Eastern Shore and with the UM Capital Region Health system in PG County. One thing he’s noticed during his time in emergency departments: Patients who frequently re-visit the ER for substance abuse. His interest in addiction treatment, and for having a good option for intervention to treatment, lead him to Recovery Centers of America. Dr. Gall is also personally attached to substance use disorder treatment, as he has watched family members navigate through a confusing and often frustrating process of treatment and relapse. He is eager to contribute to RCA’s mission of breaking the stigma of addiction and getting patients effective, comprehensive addiction treatment.

Teedo joined Bracebridge Hall, RCA in September 2016 as a nurse practitioner and quickly moved into the Associate Medical Director position by February 2017, becoming a strong advocate for addiction recovery. Entering the field through paramedicine in 2010, Teedo soon found her passion in nursing and finalized her formal education from Wilmington University in 2013 as a Board-Certified Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practice. Through her work as an Emergency Department Travel Nurse along the east coast, Teedo is passionate about giving back to communities in need. Teedo has traveled and used her professional skills to provide care to outlying villages in Managua, Nicaragua with the Nicaraguan American Nurses Association. Teedo carries that same dedication into her daily interactions with patients, focusing on the best interest of each of them.
