I was a client at avenues for 6 months. I found it to be professionally run by caring people. Right now I have 1 year clean with more to go.my counselor was crummy but all the others were good, don't worry he has since left.the living arrangements were fine and the food they provided was sufficient. You cooked for yourself. When the young guys cooked you got hot dogs and burgers .when the older ones cooked you ate salmon, pork shoulders, pork chops etc. It was hit or miss but never bad. Plus you could make what you wanted. The patient techs were good and helpful. One in particular pat would literally go to the ends of the earth to help you. Gotta love the guys genuiness and caring demeanor. The housing manager devin was really good also. Sadly I've been in quite a few rehabs and I would rate avenues an 8 out of 10. I would recommend it to family and friends. I learned alot there which helps me now.you can only get better coming here. Jamie lorber
Great place to go if you are serious about getting sober. Entire staff is not only involved they care about you. Highly recommend EMEC. They helped me understand what I had to do in recovery. This place saved my soul, can't thank them enough.
No nonsense, set limits and stuck to them. Very willing to speak and work with family members after patient gives permission. Mental health evaluation did not take place due to scheduling even though my husband requested this over his month long stay. Facility was excellent, my husband stayed a full 30 days (despite our awful insurance company) He then completed 2 months of outpatient.
