Verify your coverageThis program truly saved my life. It offered more than abstinence from drugs, it also worked with Co-Occurring Disorder and Trauma which was vital to my recovery.
SPR has given me another chance at life. I was dead inside when I got here. I didn't care about myself nor where my life was going. Once the fog cleared, I was able and willing to open my mind to what this place was teaching me. My counselor was phenomenal at getting me to open up about things I have numbed and refused to talk about in the past. I was able to hone in on those issues during my time here. The variety of courses offered were great. The courses helped me identify triggers, coping skills and ways to handle my emotions to help me prevent relapsing. I have a lot of tools in the tool box to help me in my recovery thanks to SPR. I am now in a position to help myself, which I didn't feel like I was in the past. This place has given me the opportunity to help others in my latter days as well, which also helps me in my recovery. I can't thank SPR and the staff enough for what they've done for me and the fresh start I feel like I've been given. It's a gift I can only payback by staying clean and helping others.
Bring patience when working with this facility! It took 10+ hours for intake process, half hour or longer to try to speak with someone via phone on each attempt; little to no interaction with staff and doctors for both our minor child and ourselves. Seems very disorganized in many ways. We received several different people calling to ask consent for the same medication. Took them 2 days to provide clothing we brought to our minor child. Changed the release date at the last minute. Not enough time to make proper arrangements with my job.
There is no obligation to enter treatment and you can opt out at any time.
