It taught me the life skills needed in order to be an effective member of society without needing drugs and alcohol. Through counseling, classes, and small groups they gave me tools to stay sober that I had never received before. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and always there to provide support when needed. From my intake experience, to my drive to the airport to return home; I felt validated and heard. BDR taught me how to love myself, gave me my voice back, and taught how to trust again. They gave me the things I had lacked in my life so that I could stay sober. They taught me that sobriety was a lifestyle change and that I was the chooser in my destiny. I will be forever grateful for this place.

when I came here I was lost, broken, and tired of the life I had lived for so long. everyday the staff and the other clients got me to open up. I lost everything coming here, but I gained my inner self. I gained relationships that will last a lifetime. I tried to get sober and change my ways a long time ago, but I never could. I honestly feel the program here has helped me grow closer to God, and want to be a better man, and father. there was things in my head that I was going to keep balled up and take to the grave with me, and honestly it was killing me, but by meeting I trust they helped me open up and be free of my past. A.A is my most favorite class. Libby did an amazing job and I love how she could relate to almost everyone in the class. serenity point will always have a place in my heart. I can finally be happy again , and be the father my daughter deserves. somebody asked me here, why would I give up everything for one thing? when I can give up one thing, and have everything. that really stuck with me. I know who I want to be today and none of that would be possible with out this place.

Their website layout is good and easy to use. The specific care they dedicate to women is wonderful. I can't think of any weaknesses. It's a great facility. My sister admitted she had a problem not too long ago and Sacred Heart was recommended to us and we are so glad it was. They treated her with kindness and understanding. She came out with such a strong will to stay on the right track. We are so thankful for Sacred Heart.
