The atmosphere at Sjrp is very therapeutic and recovery oriented. The staff really go above and beyond and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. You can tell they enjoy what they do, which made me feel very comfortable. The facility is very clean. I would highly recommend Sjrp to anyone (friend or family) struggling with addiction and looking to get their life back on track.

Cami my therapist is extremely through and listens very well. She really dives in on the problems and works on solutions, she truly goes above and beyond. Demitrius, his groups are amazing. He provides certificates, and makes it like a course or a program so its rewarding having something to show for your time here. Therapist Ali is very good at listening and problem solving in her groups. She does a good job at keeping groups focused and helping people talk things out. The TA's are amazing. Therapists Jenn and Karah have really good groups. I liked the structure. Process groups are so important because you can get feedback from other perspectives and they are very relatable. They help you actively work through your issues. The fountains are amazing, they are so beautiful. I go sit and read all the time and listen to the water, its very therapeutic. The nature path is also beautiful and having a gym is important because I'm a gym person. I loved the community nights where they had movie night, spa night, trivia night. Its very rewarding because you start to learn that you can have fun sober. River Oaks really helped me identify why I relapse and work through trauma. It provided me a safe space to be able to work through my issues. It helped me with my coping skills and personal growth to prevent relapsing and have long term success in recovery. Having the sense of community really makes it. The counselors are great but being around a group of non-judgmental people really helped me grow.
