Bobby Bunyon is CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Bracebridge Hall in Earlville, Maryland. In this role, his primary responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of dedicated, mission-driven addictions professionals in delivering superior substance abuse care. He also ensures the local community is aware of the resources and support available through RCA. For over a decade, Bobby has been an influential leader within the addiction treatment field. Before assuming his current role, he served as Recovery Centers of America’s Corporate Director of Clinical Operations for over three years. Prior to RCA, he worked at Retreat Behavioral Health, a provider of substance use disorder and mental health services in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Bobby received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.

Mark joined the medical team at The Freedom Center in September 2018 as the Medical Director. He received his medical degree in Mexico with further certification from Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey. He then attended New York Medical College for his residency training. Prior to being hired at The Freedom Center, he spent over twenty years working in the field of addictions treatment, and has been involved in nearly every treatment setting, from outpatient to residential to maintenance management. As the Medical Director, Mark works with the staff to coordinate the appropriate level of care for each individual client. He works directly with the clients on management of medical issues both related to and separate from their addiction, ensuring comprehensive health care plans that ensure our clients’ chances at recovery. What he has found to be most rewarding about working in the addictions treatment field is being able to help suffering addicts and alcoholics to realize their fullest potential.

Catherine, BSN has been a Registered Nurse for the last 8 years. As a second career, and with a prior Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, she obtained an Associate’s degree in nursing in 2011 and began her career in the Emergency Department. In 2017 she obtained her BSN, while still continuing as an ER nurse. It was during her time as an ER nurse that she often experienced with patients and families the devastating effects of substance abuse. This compelled her to accept a floor nurse position with the Maryland Center for Addiction treatment in March of 2018 when it opened it’s doors. Within 3 months Catherine shifted from an occasional floor nurse at MCAT and full-time ER nurse, to a full-time RN Case Manager at MCAT and an occasional ER floor nurse. In July of 2019, Catherine accepted the Director of Nursing position at MCAT, and truly feels that she has found her nursing niche in substance abuse treatment and nursing management. She is currently looking forward to graduating in December 2020 with her Master’s of Science in Nursing to become a family nurse practitioner.
