I really don\'t know where to start. This has all been so emotional for me. I can\'t thank Beachside enough for what they have given me. Not to get into details but I was able to overcome an obstacle or two in my life beyond just the drinking because of beachsides staff. I was treated with dignity and respect. Just because someone is an addict does give you the right to treat them like a dog. When I pulled up to the \"point house\" I couldn\'t believe it. Being from Indiana I never seen anything so beautiful. In the evening I would sit on the dock and watch the sunset. There are a couple people that I want to give special recognition to for helping me when I needed it most: a male staff member for putting up with me that first week I was here, a woman staff member for always being available, and another male staff memebr for making sure I got there in the first place. There are too many names to mention but everyone was so helpful and professional. A couple things I think they could improve on: more snacks during the day, a little more beach time, ride horses once a week and not every other week. I\'m staying now in the local town of Vero Beach so I can continue my recovery program. Great place to change your life. I would recommend to anyone
There are many people here that I respect. Care Coordinator Mattie, my Case Manager Stephen, Dr. Steve Ramos, Dr. Murphy, TA Cecil, Michael, Frank. Nurses Frankie and Nurse Frank the Vietnam Vet. The kitchen staff was great, Grazia, Glenda, and Orlando really helped me. My therapist Saffiyah was awesome. Dimitrius groups were so powerful and they helped me more than I can say to change my mindset. The most most powerful one that he did was when he talked about not letting our inner critic take over. I learned so much about what I need to do to prevent relapse. I enjoyed the relapse prevention and meditation groups the most. Therapist Tony was great. This place was just like a resort and I loved the kickball and volleyball. They had a basket ball and tennis court also. I really liked that they had a TV lounge area because I had a nice quiet place I could relax after groups. I loved that we could have our phones and our vapes. I would definitely recommend coming here to get help!
The staff here are amazing, you guys really care and work so hard.
