I heard it was a good place to go so I went. I would recommend it to others.
Knowledgeable, relatable, and empathetic staff. The structure was great. The program and counseling was life-saving.However, this isn't a day spa. I got what I needed and it saved my life! I discovered that nearly everything I thought I knew was wrong. I learned that I was my problem. I learned my using was a symptom of my bigger issues. The classes were incredible. Anger Management was probably my favorite and most needed. Learning I couldn't control anything other than my actions and reactions was actually super empowering. I loved all the classes. I loved the mandatory exercising and cleaning. I loved the structure and routine. I felt super safe. I feel like conflicts were resolved in a great way, which taught me how to approach conflicts in the future. I felt like all the rules and disciplines were fair. I am appreciative in how they also helped you set up your aftercare and madelete sure your housing was good for your recovery. Because of what I learned in rehab, I maintained two 12-step meetings a day, as well as Outpatient Treatment for a year after I got out. I now have over four years clean and sober thanks to Best Care.
Highly educated and experienced clinical staff and a dedicated director's board. Staff are easily contacted by concerned family and return phone calls promptly. Case management is in touch with families on a weekly basis. a very healing and informative family weekend. Clients get a chance to experience triggers from the outside world while still experiencing treatment. Clients encouraged to get jobs and be financially responsible before discharge, not continue to be dependent on parents or loved ones, clients are hooked up with community resources, staff is highly skilled and educated, they give a lot of scholarships, the directors are readily available and answer the phone 24/7, really good team work among staff members, staff members are in recovery themselves and really enjoy their jobs, - New program - Space constraints of facility, small rooms, not enough offices, parking - Lack of training and short sobriety requirement for technicians, they tend to get into power struggles - not very good therapist retention - no women on their director's or management team .
