My counselor there was by far the most phenomenal counselor I've come in contact with in my 25 years of addiction. She has been a pillar to my recovery a huge part of my sobriety and has helped me in every aspect of my new life!! She is patient and informative and knows all the tools needed as a former addict which makes all the difference she makes it extremely comfortable and easy to talk too. I'm very thankful to have her in my journey to recovery ! A+++
I was a client at avenues for 6 months. I found it to be professionally run by caring people. Right now I have 1 year clean with more to go.my counselor was crummy but all the others were good, don't worry he has since left.the living arrangements were fine and the food they provided was sufficient. You cooked for yourself. When the young guys cooked you got hot dogs and burgers .when the older ones cooked you ate salmon, pork shoulders, pork chops etc. It was hit or miss but never bad. Plus you could make what you wanted. The patient techs were good and helpful. One in particular pat would literally go to the ends of the earth to help you. Gotta love the guys genuiness and caring demeanor. The housing manager devin was really good also. Sadly I've been in quite a few rehabs and I would rate avenues an 8 out of 10. I would recommend it to family and friends. I learned alot there which helps me now.you can only get better coming here. Jamie lorber
I would give Steps to Recovery a 10/10. All facilities are clean and updated and overall just comfortable. The steps at Steps are all well educated and friendly. The whole place is generally very inviting and makes your time getting sober fly by and feel productive. Steps would be the first place I'd recommend to anyone who wants to feel like the really belong somewhere!
