Great caring staff . Good program with key aspects integrated for a successful and healing recovery journey.
Ali my therapist would always find me to talk with me. Even when she was in the middle of a meeting. She worked with my family to make sure I had everything that I needed. She really took care of me. Dr, Murphy and Dr. Sina helped me so much. They checked up on me and helped me with my medications. They really educated me to help me make an informed decision on my meds and what the potential side effects could be. They made me feel supported. All the groups were great, I always got something out of each group. I never left feeling like I didn't learn or achieve something. I love the campus, its very clean. The whole set up is nice and didn't have any issues with how to get around. The class room set up was also nice. The house keeper Isabel is amazing. The rooms are pretty much like hotel style and the campus is beautiful. I like volleyball and we did bingo night, trivia night, and spa night. They had movie night every weekend. I came in thinking I just needed help not doing my drug of choice. But being here I learned that I also cant drink or smoke marijuana, I learned how my mind works and I learned the coping skills I need. I learned that I don't have numb myself and I laughed here more than I ever have and I learned that I can have fun in sobriety. I would definitely recommend River Oaks to anyone seeking treatment!
I just wanna say that through this program I’ve gained so much and have so much respect for my relationship with God myself. I got so much inspiration from Angel Cruz the alumni coordinator. He was so concerned he gave me so much inspiration
