Hi, my name is Cathy and I was blessed to be at Gold Bridge Treatment Center in February of 2022. I am pleased to leave this review based on how awesome God Bridge staff and amenities are, based on this being the third treatment center I've been to and BY FAR the best in so many crucial ways. So, let's begin. In addiction, it is hard to take that first step to get help. And if you've had to take that first step more than once, it gets even harder. But, I did figure out what I was looking for and more importantly, what I needed to begin a truly sober journey. The most important thing I wanted and I feel is the most important piece of the puzzle, are counselors who actually get to know you, who will help you figure out what is best for you and your recovery; not a cookie cutter experience. I wanted a smaller patient to counselor ratio for my individualized counseling and group counseling. If you're looking for this as well, Gold Bridge is so far beyond the other two treatment centers I went to, and I'm not exaggerating. Add to that outstanding support staff, from the techs, to the nurse, to the chef and admin folks; they all care so much, as well, and many have also found their own personal way out of addiction into recovery so they totally get what it means to be there, why you're there, and want to genuinely help. There's always someone there to talk to, and they have a good number of techs to each patient, so your needs are met with friendliness and understanding. Then, to top things off, the amenities are by far the best and totally unique to any treatment center I had every been in or looked at. Spaces are built in apartment style suites, with a living area complete with refrigerator, washer and dryer, bathroom, a sofa and flat screen TV. Within that suite there may be one bedroom or two, each bedroom which holds two people. The beds are super comfortable! Outside of the suites is a community area that has comfy sofas, pool table and ping pong. Wonderful, home style cooking, and just nice outdoor areas. There's a gym there locally where we went every day for whatever exercise we wanted to do, or just a juice bar if we wanted to sit and read and purchase a smoothie and relax. I honestly just can't say enough about this place. The owner is also so genuine and built Gold Bridge out of his own experience in creating other recovery centers in California. He made it small on purpose and knows how to develop a comfortable, personalized experience for folks needing treatment that includes high attention to detail. You must realize that the work is up to you, it has to be done by you. You have to be willing to put in 100% of the best of you as you can; you will grow tremendously in 28 days. This is the first time I've remained sober in a very mindful, connected way. If you want sobriety, to be truly clean, this is the best place I've been to have that all important 28 day start to your journey of living the life for you that is worth living!
Sunflower has COMPLETELY changed my life, I cant describe in words what this place, staff, and clients have done for me. I thought I was completely hopeless until I came here and the support I got from here. I love this place with ALL of my heart. The owner and director here are absolutely INCREDIBLE and supportive. They have helped me beyond any other of the 6 treatment centers I have been through. They have a HUGE spot in my heart truly. And I look forward to coming back and seeing the new clients and see this place expand! I LOVE SUNFLOWER WELLNESS RETREAT.

Kansas is located in the Midwestern region of the United States. With a population of over 2.9 million people1, Kansas is recognized for its geography, including rolling hills, vast prairies, and the Flint Hills. The state is also home to a rich history, with landmarks such as the historic Dodge City and the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site, which played a key role in the Civil Rights Movement.
Kansas is often associated with agriculture and the famous “Bleeding Kansas” conflict that preceded the Civil War. The state has a strong cultural heritage, with Native American tribes, pioneer settlers, and Western cowboys all contributing to the unique identity of Kansas. Today, Kansas is known for its vibrant arts scene, outdoor recreation opportunities, and friendly communities.
Like many states in the US, Kansas has been impacted by the opioid epidemic and other forms of substance abuse. This prevalence rate is comparable to the national average of 7.4%.2
In Kansas, there were 403 overdose deaths reported in 2019 and, by 2021, that number increased to 680 drug overdose fatalities.3 This spike was attributed to the increased use of opioids which were involved in 63% of the 2021 overdose deaths.4

You can use your insurance to help pay for drug and alcohol rehab in Iowa since most insurance providers are required to at least partially cover the cost of addiction treatment in the state. Therefore, it is important to contact your insurance provider to determine your coverage and understand any out-of-pocket costs you may be responsible for.
If you are uninsured, do not worry. There are still options available for accessing addiction treatment in Iowa. State-funded treatment centers offer affordable or free services to those who qualify based on income and other factors. These centers may offer a range of services, including detox, inpatient, and outpatient treatment, and may also provide medication-assisted treatment and other therapies.
When seeking addiction treatment in Kansas, there are various options for the duration of treatment depending on your needs and circumstances. The most common durations for addiction treatment programs include 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day programs. These programs typically involve a combination of therapy, counseling, and other supportive services aimed at helping individuals overcome addiction and develop the skills and tools necessary to maintain their sobriety.
If you suffer from more complex addiction issues, longer-term rehab may be necessary. Long-term rehab programs typically last between 6 months to 2 years and can provide more comprehensive treatment. These programs often include a combination of intensive therapy, counseling, and life skills training to help you not only overcome your addiction but also develop the necessary tools and skills to maintain your sobriety over the long-term.
Finding the right addiction treatment program is crucial if you are seeking recovery from addiction. By taking the time to explore different treatment options, you can find a program that addresses your unique needs and circumstances, giving you the best chance for lifelong recovery. Whether it’s a short-term or long-term program, public or private, it’s essential to seek out help and work with qualified professionals to create a customized treatment plan that supports long-term sobriety and a healthier, happier life.
