I knew that my supervisor would always support and encourage me while giving me valuable insights into any issue I have. I knew I could go to any one of my cohorts at any time for any reason. They say that when you’re told “it’s a family environment” that it really means you’re overworked and underpaid but that was not my experience. I did and still do consider my coworkers my family in the way that I could rely on them when the work got tough, get personal and professional advice, and I know that they’ve still got my back.
