They have Family Education Program for Parents and Siblings for 3 Days and attending AA & NA Meeting. One of the main reasons we chose Caron is because we want a Treatment Center where Suboxone and Methadone was not used and where she would have a fighting chance for her sobriety.The facility is in a beautiful secluded location on a mountain in PA. The councilor and other medical staff were very professional and supportive for both my daughter and the entire family. They made sure she was healthy, she went to the doctors for physicals and lab work. We were including in her treatment plan and in the education sessions. I only wish that every Addict had a change to get treatment from Caron's. They treat the mind, body and the spirt. I hope to never need them for my self. But as we all know relapse occurs and she may need treatment someday.

Water Gap Wellness

My time at Water Gap Wellness was life changing. I had daily access to medical attention from Dr and regular individual sessions with my therapist. I was able to work through so much, and I feel the best I ever have about my future! If they would let me, I would stay at Water Gap forever. The food is great with variety and vegetarian options. The bedrooms are huge and come with big TV's and Hulu, Amazon Prime, and fast internet. There are lots of living room areas to lounge or watch a movie with others, and right out the back door is the golf course and the most incredible sunsets you can imagine...and the Appalachian Trail is literally right next door too. In every way, Water Gap Wellness really is exceptional.

The treatment experience takes place in a facility that takes a 5-star approach to maintenance and presentation. The facility overall, and especially patient rooms, is constantly maintained to create a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment. The treatment provided utilizes a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating individual and group therapy, art and music therapy, wellness and dietary services, family services, case management, legal advocacy, and 12 step programming. This comprehensive approach fosters growth and insight in multiple aspects of the individual's life. 5-star quality care and service, multiple therapeutic modalities and offerings, holistic services, case management, alumni and follow up services, community engagement, patient community, 12 step education, spiritual services Given the facility's geographic location and neighborhood, it does not have a large amount of space outdoors for patients to utilize. That being said, the facility does have designated spaces for patients to get fresh air and provides routine outings (including equine therapy), which provide further opportunities for patients to get outside the building.
