I would definitely recommend this place. It’s one of the few places that has staff who truly care about their clients and love their job
The power of the group was immense. My peers were the biggest influence on me. The ability to socialize without substances, and the opportunity to explore personal issues were worth the time and effort...(There were) extra costs for meditation, massage and acupuncture....The website is very misleading (about alernative therapies)...only one session of art therapy available, no pet therapy, music therapy was terrible...I would have preferred that all of them were available, especially considering how expensive the treatment is....
My therapist Brian was amazing. I loved Andrea's groups they were very informative. Therapist Amy was inclusive. Christina made it fun learning about the brain and the disease of addiction through inter active games which was really cool. Saffiyah was awesome and engaging with her group dynamics. Ray did the family component with me and my wife. I was impressed because Ray worked with my wife and my wife felt that Ray was genuinely concerned with my after care and helped her learn about boundaries and get education about addiction. I'm lucky to have a supportive family, my wife and my daughter are understanding of me being here. l learned a lot about myself and my issues with gambling. I felt like the hamster running around. My experience here was great. I didn't miss any groups and attending all the NA meetings. I felt comfortable sharing things I had never shared before. I'm continuing therapy when I go home and doing IOP 3 times a week and family therapy.
