      Staff have strong compassion for helping people/clients. Very organized daily routine, clean center. People seem to get by drug tests often easily This particular facility has given me the beautiful life I have today, learned a lot about myself and have been given the proper tools to live my life sober, effectively, successfully. I am now able to give back and help others achieve sobriety, by the grace of God.

      Independence House - Corbin

      The staff is well trained and caring. They make sure to train attendees on life skills (cooking, cleaning, etc) and interpersonal skills before introduction back into real life. This facility is in Southern Kentucky and most attendees are from the area. That being said, the program is mostly geared toward a Christian based program. There doesn't seem to be any holistic approach whatsoever. It fits the area, however. I loved the staff at Independence House. They can only house about 20 women at a time, so it's small and you're able to concentrate on your program without too many personalities coming at you. There is a "KP" schedule, so everyone takes a turn cooking for the house throughout the week. I loved this about this rehab. The staff is quick to resolve any disputes between attendees through mediation. We also took frequent "field trips" to Cumberland Falls, which is nearby and also to local AA meetings.

      Landmark Recovery

      Very clean and organized. Landmark is a very new facility, so many rules and expectations are still under construction and often ambiguous and/or apt to change. The staff, along with the patients, are all in recovery. This makes conversation and advice extremely helpful, and everyone is very understanding and caring towards both patients and fellow staff. I have never seen another recovery facility with this benefit.
