I first started my relationship with Synergy three years ago. I was lost, broken, and struggling to find any kind of purpose. I was hurting so deeply that I just knew I would never live any kind of happy life. I was not the easiest client to deal with throughout my stays at Synergy, but the staff always remained patient and understanding with me. They knew what I was going through and gave me the space to heal that I needed. The staff at Synergy encouraged me and continued to pour love and worthiness into me until I was able to do so myself. They cared for me while I couldn’t care for myself. Over the last few years, I have been able to find my true self, figure out how to live a happy life, and most importantly, learned that my past does not define me. I can finally say that I have truly learned the importance of self-reflection and speaking my truth, all with the help of Synergy and I never would have gotten here without them!
strength:I was treated like I was important. My counselor took ownership in my recovery and helped me get where I am now. The medical staff were nice and helpful but most of what I did involved a team of therapists that worked with me and my wife. It saved my life and my marriage. I am grateful. weakness:n/a They were innetwork with our insurance and still worked with us on a payment plan for our deductible and copays which made the difference of me getting into treatment or not. They care and I can't think of any way to say thank you other than going aroudn adn telling people. na me and my wife enjoyed how we were treated by staff both the treatment itself and the general interactions that we had regularly. More than anything, I saw with my own eyes the hurt and anger of people like me going in there, and cannot imagine the task of treating these people and making them happy :) I was one of those. Despite my attitude, times of wanting to walk away from it all, they remained calm and compassionate and talked me off the ledge... had they not I'm not sure I would be married still or even around for that matter.
Valley Hope is absolutely amazing!!! When my husband Ray O. came to Valley Hope, his alcohol level was 456! This was the 3rd time his level was that high. He was also addicted to prescription pain medication. From the first day he was at Valley Hope, he absolutely loved it. He, like many of the residents, did not want to leave. It was very helpful to both of us that I was able to spend full weekends there and attend classes with him throughout the day. While it was not always easy for Ray while he was there, the staff was wonderful. Everyone at Valley Hope is very friendly and helpful; they want you to succeed! Today, September 6, 2019 is Ray's 6 month anniversary of being sober! He has absolutely no desire to drink or take pills - it really never even crosses his mind. We are both so thankful for Valley Hope and all the people there. We made many lasting friendships with the people Ray was there with and they all continue to help each other. I am so proud of what my husband has accomplished and I will be forever grateful to Valley Hope!
