I had to go to a nursing home, the doctor took me off all my meds from CMS and dropped my methadone. I was at pain level 8. Going back, they could not have been more helpful, the doctor immediately put me back on my meds and methadone, pain level 0.
First time in treatment, let me break down my thoughts: Accommodations - Nice converted Spa - Nice outside grounds, but you are in a business park, but plenty of walking paths and outdoor space (smokers areas plenty) - Class space is good and modern - Food is quite good, staff is very nice - Cell phones are allowed, just be respectful, dont use in class etc..... - You will have a roommate, hit and miss person wise, but not huge issues Clinical Staff - Strong therapy staff, Lectures are well done. - A few could use some more experience and training But Greenhouse seems to be addressing - AA is offered each night - Individual counseling is weekly and helpful - Good/Great access to Psyc care - All are very caring and many are in recovery so very relatable Other - Business office is helpful - Case Managers are helpful and supportive - Negative - They are working on process but the script distribution process needs an overhaul, many times it takes an Hour to gain meds and that can be restrictive - Be ready for male and female segregation in off class times, understandable as we are here for recovery and are vunerable - Package delivery was simple from Amazon - TA's are charged with "enforcing" the rules, at times this can seem like a pain, but give them a break as they are just doing their job, and the majority of the TAs were very helpful and nice.
Genuine interest in recovery, patience understanding
