They do get patients involved in therapy and encourage the patients to understand why they turned to drugs or alcohol and understand how to cope without them once back in the real world. It's too expensive and can't really handle someone who is mentally ill and addicted. It seemed that many of the patients there are too affluent and not really serious about recovery.
