Verify your coverageThe district is a one of a kind program, during my time there, and in the years after as i began working in the field, i noticed that what the district does really stands out. I was at the end of the road with my addiction but not quite willing to commit and the district was very good at meeting me where i was at. It created an environment for me where, if i did the work, then it was clear that it worked. It also created a safe enough environment for me to be held accountable when i didn’t do the work, which happened as it does to many of us. It was a safe enough environment for me to make those mistakes early on without it costing me my sobriety. As the years have gone on i still learn every day more and more about myself and have become more and more tuned into the idea that i’m here to live life on life’s terms. TDRC showed me how to be the person i wanted to be. I will forever highly recommend this program for anyone who wants to give this long term recovery thing a shot. The houses are beautiful, the friendships you make here are beautiful, and this recovery thing is beautiful. 😁
This place was a good treatment center filled with many knowledgeable staff. The clinical team works with you very diligently. They will call you on your crap and bend over back to help you succeed.
Strengths: Accessibility, well maintained, diverse. Weaknesses: Different rules for different people, visiting hours were very limited, all food was fried or heavily rich. I was here for a year and 2 months for alcohol. This was my first rehab and I have to say, it saved my life! I was able to learn tools and fill voids where needed. I moved to there sober living after 45 days in intensive treatment and was able to get a full time job and fight my 11 year prison sentence from a felony DUI. i just celebrated 17 months and have been on my own for 2 months excelling in my job and cleaning up the wreckage of my past. God bless.
