Like many other cities in the U.S., Port Orange, Florida faces its share of problems with drug and alcohol abuse. Located in the county that ranks 15th in the state for drug poisoning deaths (Volusia), Port Orange residents may be looking for answers on how to deal with addiction.1
Those struggling with addiction can find help by getting into treatment, where they can rectify maladaptive behaviors and replace them with healthy coping skills. Depending on your addiction, treatment may begin with detoxification—the process of your body eliminating all toxins. Withdrawal can be an uncomfortable and, with some substances, even dangerous experience, so detoxing in a detox center under medical supervision can keep you safe.
Working for Bayshore was a real pleasure. The staff was very proficient and professional. You can see the sincerity that each clients receive in helping with their addiction. The atmosphere and location is ideal for treatment. I would highly recommend Bayshore for anyone who is seeking treatment for any vices they have.
This place saved my life, made me a stronger women and my counselor was the best I have ever worked with and I could not ask for a better life at the moment, they're holistix approach was amazing the Reiki and seeing the chiropractor and the sound therapy was so amazing for inner peace and learning to love myself. I would give this place 5 stars, you have to look at the bigger picture and be there to work on your self nothing more, you can't get sober for a relationship or for your kids or for your family you have to get sober because you want to be sober for yourself but that is just my own opinion.
I cannot say enough! The folks who work there have to be the absolute best there is!!!!! I'm going to go all cliche and say they are miracle workers. I had abused alcohol for over a decade and couldn't quit on my own. These folks helped me to find the root of my issues and learn to accept them. The administrative staff is caring, kind and understanding of the clients' issues. The counselors are like the "Avengers" of counselors. They have real super powers! Seriously, each had thier own special way to connect with the clients. The instruction they gave was outstanding! I thought I knew it all with my degree in psychology but wow.... The knowledge imparted to me was staggering. I studied every night and tried to wrap my head around everything I had learned that day and apply it. I have never studied or applied myself to learning like I did at Footprints. The wholistic approach was the exact way to go for me. I needed to explore treatments and therapies I hadn't done before. A total eye opener! Please. Please! If you are questioning whether or not to choose this facility, just do it. This isn't sitting around in a circle listening to other peoples issues, which is the experience I had always had, this is "hands in the dirt" action to help you to make a difference in your life! I can't say enough about John and the crew. They helped me to take my life back and be able to enjoy the bejeezus out of my wife and boy again. I am indebted forever and thrilled about it. Just call them, please. Take your life back like I did. Probably the easiest and smartest decision you'll make today.............or ever.
