Verify your coverageBring patience when working with this facility! It took 10+ hours for intake process, half hour or longer to try to speak with someone via phone on each attempt; little to no interaction with staff and doctors for both our minor child and ourselves. Seems very disorganized in many ways. We received several different people calling to ask consent for the same medication. Took them 2 days to provide clothing we brought to our minor child. Changed the release date at the last minute. Not enough time to make proper arrangements with my job.
There ability to help you reinforce the strength to use the tools to stay sober They were a coed facility at the time and were unable to stop hooking up and I believe that took away from treatment. I absolutely loved being there for treatment. They made me feel safe and an addict has a lot of trust issues. There treatment program really works. At least it did for me.
It was overwhelming being here, but in a good way. I did not think that I was going to be able to process all the information being given to me, but they covered information in a way that it was easy for you to understand and gave you goals to work towards. Before coming here, I was struggling with finances, I was barely able to hold down a job and I could not stay away from people that were leading me in the wrong direction. Since being here and working with professional staff members I realized that I was not alone in this and I was able to find support from others within the groups that I was attending. I was under the impression that once I completed the program I would be good, but I soon realized that I had a lot more effort to put in once I left if I wanted to remain on the road to recovery. This was a great path to start the process of overcoming addiction. They had great security, a caring and compassionate staff and all around a great place to be.
