The Detox house was a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a nice neighborhood. Meals were catered for lunch and dinner. The cabinet and fridge were always full of anything you wanted to eat.
Detox is 3-10 days depending on the severity of your addiction.
No matter what you've heard, there is nothing they can provide you to feel better. Medical Assisted Therapy is provided after everything is out of your system.
Residential housing is a larger 3bdr/3bath home in a nice neighborhood. There are two people to a room and men and women are in separate house. During the beach/park visits we are reintegrated with opposite sex. The houses were companion animal friendly. If you do not have one, the backyard includes a Koi pond with wild ducks.

Majority of the residents were addicts, some were alcoholics. There were 25 men in 4 houses and 4 women living at a separate house.
Living rooms had TVs with all the apps and movie channels installed.

I came to His House on February 13, 2016. I had been in treatment 8 times before and had convinced myself I had all the answers. Once I hit rock bottom and was willing to put the work in, His House was the place that gave me support, structure, and taught me the tools to implement that in my life. After 8 years of active addiction, I definitely needed all three desperately. The staff has given me opportunities to become the person that I wanted to be and live a productive life. I wasn\'t just another client. They dedicated their efforts and time to work with me on my underlying issues and ways to work through them. I honestly have nothing but respect and tremendous appreciation for everyone at His House. This is where my life really began, and I couldn\'t have done it without them.
I was a patient at Laguna Hospital and they really took good care of me. I have been to treatment before and know this place is a good one. My case manager Eva was there for me. I would have left there a few times if it was not for her, we really clicked and I felt she got me. She would come meet with me almost daily and we would talk and talk, it made all the difference to me. She called my son and gave him updates on my progress which he really appreciated.
I recommend this place if you need help.
