Teedo joined Bracebridge Hall, RCA in September 2016 as a nurse practitioner and quickly moved into the Associate Medical Director position by February 2017, becoming a strong advocate for addiction recovery. Entering the field through paramedicine in 2010, Teedo soon found her passion in nursing and finalized her formal education from Wilmington University in 2013 as a Board-Certified Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practice. Through her work as an Emergency Department Travel Nurse along the east coast, Teedo is passionate about giving back to communities in need. Teedo has traveled and used her professional skills to provide care to outlying villages in Managua, Nicaragua with the Nicaraguan American Nurses Association. Teedo carries that same dedication into her daily interactions with patients, focusing on the best interest of each of them.

Before beginning his career in medicine, Dr. Jeffrey Gall spent a year and a half on active duty for training in the USMC Reserve, completing Boot Camp at Paris Island and continuing to a course in Ground Radio Repair at 29 Palms, CA. He left the Marines with an Honorable Discharger as a Sergeant (E-5), having served briefly during Operation Desert Storm. Dr. Gall completed his BS in Biology from The George Washington University, and entered medical school at GW, finishing in 2001. Following an internship in 2002 in Internal Medicine at North Shore – NYU in New York, Dr. Gall completed his Emergency Medicine Residency in GWU in 2005, becoming Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine in 2006. Following his residency, he worked at a variety of Locum Tenens jobs in the ER, before accepting a job as Assistant Professor of Medicine with The University of Maryland. He worked in Baltimore City for four years before taking a leave of absence for 6 months to do a training program in Retrieval Medicine in Queensland, Australia. This job involved helicopter and fixed-wing transports of ill patients from remote sites. Since returning from Australia, Dr. Gall has worked in Maryland exclusively, both on the Eastern Shore and with the UM Capital Region Health system in PG County. One thing he’s noticed during his time in emergency departments: Patients who frequently re-visit the ER for substance abuse. His interest in addiction treatment, and for having a good option for intervention to treatment, lead him to Recovery Centers of America. Dr. Gall is also personally attached to substance use disorder treatment, as he has watched family members navigate through a confusing and often frustrating process of treatment and relapse. He is eager to contribute to RCA’s mission of breaking the stigma of addiction and getting patients effective, comprehensive addiction treatment.

Mark joined the medical team at The Freedom Center in September 2018 as the Medical Director. He received his medical degree in Mexico with further certification from Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey. He then attended New York Medical College for his residency training. Prior to being hired at The Freedom Center, he spent over twenty years working in the field of addictions treatment, and has been involved in nearly every treatment setting, from outpatient to residential to maintenance management. As the Medical Director, Mark works with the staff to coordinate the appropriate level of care for each individual client. He works directly with the clients on management of medical issues both related to and separate from their addiction, ensuring comprehensive health care plans that ensure our clients’ chances at recovery. What he has found to be most rewarding about working in the addictions treatment field is being able to help suffering addicts and alcoholics to realize their fullest potential.
