I have been a consistent patient at this facility since Jan 24th 2008. Today marks 15 years exactly and I am truly grateful for this clinic because when I first started I was a young 18 year old addict who was extremely sick with my disease and was pregnant and absolutely terrified but the staff was so sweet and reassuring that everything was going to be ok and very reassuring my baby was going to be ok during treatment. I have been clean now since July 11th 2012, my son is alive and a healthy 14 year old because of this clinic. Because this clinic cared about my wellbeing and my sons we are both happy healthy people living a normal drug free life. I owe everything to my clinic and there will never be anything I could say or do to thank them enough for saving my life.
Let me first say i've been to treatment multiple times....and BRH is a special place. There are multiple pathways to recovery and Bear river supports them all. I would not change my past, because it made me the man I am today. I do wish I would of stumbled(a little AA humor) upon this center earlier in my life. I would not have wasted sooo many years hiding my problems. Thanks, to everyone at Bear River I am now living my best life!
Many of the workers have been through there as a client. Each day is set up to keep clients busy. Goal oriented focusing on solutions. Outside meetings twice a week. If you want to make a change for the better and keep your focus on yourself for your stay I highly recommend this facility. The workers share your struggle and better understand your situation. However, there is coed without separation and clients tend to be easily distracted by opposite sex.
